He’s one of the last significant signees from the Aggie’s 2022 #1 recruiting class. Billy from TexAgs has high expectations for him. LINK

I don't have any real thoughts on Conner Weigman other than being curious about what he can do if he stays healthy.

Thoughts on Conner Weigman

I don't really think we've seen much to have any real thoughts. He seems to have proven he's pretty talented over his time late in 2022 and early in 2023, but not enough to really make any firm declarations.

His skill set definitely seems to fit what Klein wants to do.

He probably won't finish the year, once again. His OL is garbage tier.

I love Conner’s quick trigger. That fast release gives me hope he can have a good year bc he gives his WR’s a chance to make a play while they are breaking. Guys like Max Johnson, long release, would slow WR’s down. Idk. We need to keep Connor and Noah healthy to have our best offense.

Plus, it’s unfair to say he is injury prone. The Auburn hit was from a player falling down after he threw and crashing helmet first into Connor’s planted foot. It was not a late hit, it was just an unlucky hit that derailed the season. Then Max broke his ribs. Then Henderson broke his arm. But then Marcel Reed came in and looked like a young undeveloped Jayden Daniels.

I forget how many guys break their bones in conference play. Arkansas lost guys, Auburn lost guys, and on clean tackles too.

Strong arm -good accuracy. The garbage OL they’ve trotted out there the last couple years hasn’t helped him.

I suspect that he is not the only QB who plays in aggy o

He will beat notre dame
Aggies fans will be ready to engrave the heisman and then the October November swoon will rear its ugly head in typical Aggie fashion

We only had bad OL under Addavio. That was a bad comfort hire. But the new guy looks good. I expect us to have 1k rusher at RB too after the gap year of finding a new starter after Achane left. I expect Moss to be that dude.

Who knows? None of us have any clue what we have this year.

He has all the tools. We’ve only seen him play in 4.5 games, but in his short window, you can see why he was a 5 star.

It will be tough to stay healthy in the SEC with an offensive scheme like they ran at KSU.

Our backups will see playing time at some point.

As he should. All depends on his Ol and WRs.

It all depends on Klein’s offense. Don’t know much about him bc I don’t watch those games. But he should in theory have better weapons to use. I think he’s fielded good offenses with new personnel consistently at KSU from what I read.

Weigman looked legit good. If he plays a full season, I bet he plays well enough to get NFL draft buzz.

How long was Klein OC at Kansas State? You'd have to go back 7 years (2016) to find the last time they were able to beat us, and in 2020 we absolutely curb stomped them.

Edit- and that was with some of our worst defenses in recent memory.

What does that have to do with anything? We aren’t KSU. Why did you embed your team? Your guaranteeing a victory bc Klein is the OC? That’s not how football works, and the thread is about Connor, not horn.
