They're very similar. You have one juggernaut followed by a mixed bag of teams that could all beat each other if they're playing their best.

I would still argue the East is weaker. We have two historically bad Vanderbilt and Missouri teams. The bottom teams in the West would easily handle those two on their worst days. Tennessee and SCAR are nothing to write home about.

I can't prove your opinion/theory wrong, but the season will play out and we will know which division won more cross divisional games. Right now I can say the west has the number 1 ranked team and defending champs, and one more ranked team. The east boast the worst team in the conference with Vandy, who apparnently is not as bad UConn. So the top may be debatable, the east is clearly not better at the bottom.

And we just now tied it. Mizzou led the series 5-2 in 2018 when they beat us 50-17 (they also beat us by that same score in 2017). Those guys really had our number.

I'd rank the teams at:

1A) Georgia
1B) Alabama
3A) Arkansas
3B) Ole Miss
3C) Kentucky
6) Auburn
7A) Florida
7B) Mississippi State
9) LSU
10) Tennessee
11) South Carolina
12A) Mizzou
12B) A&M
14) Vandy

West is maybe 1 team better than the East.

Sure...watch up play for a few downs Saturday on defense. You will see the very worst team in the SEC West is miles away better than the worst team in the SEC East...and that would be us.

Well we will see if you are right in the next couple weeks. Will be an interesting pillow fight between our offense and your defense.

I could see our QB throwing the ball directly at your LBs and having the ball bounce off their hands into the arms of our slow and fat OL for 2 yard gains. Your DL will have several sacks from our QB tripping over his own feet and throwing the ball backwards.

Should be interesting.

There's a pretty decent chance all seven teams from the West end up bowl eligible. The East will get at least four but possibly not any more than that.

This is what separates us. Tennessee is showing some promise. I think South Carolina will eventually but not this year. Top 3-4 teams are pretty close, though.
