Well, let's do "best record as an SEC Head Coach", and then explain how Kiffin at Ole Miss can outperform Deboer at Alabama. Obviously Kiffin walked into a better situation... wait, no he didn't.
Kiffin replaced Matt Luke and the mess he left. Deboer followed Nick Saban, who had the prior year's team in the 4 team playoff, and took the eventual champ into overtime.
