Sidewalk should start his own podcast, sponsored by Texags.

Petrino would be the nail in the coffin for Fisher
He hasn't been relevant in a decade now

It's eerily similar to Ed Orgeron/Bo Pelini.

Over/under on how many games into the season before we find out he assaulted Jimbo in the locker room and put his name out there for the Auburn HC job?

I'm going with 3

Old school Bobby would undercut Jimbo so fast they'd be calling it the Cuckening

Ed O didn’t even interview Bo Pelini.

So, not similar….

His “inside info” is basically what Billy Liucci said was a possibility almost 2 days ago.

Jimbo hasn't interviewed Petrino yet either.

As good as Aggie’s offense looked in their last game of the year, maybe they have rethought the need for a new OC.

Look at that.

Sidewalks entire narrative he created from info that came from Billy Liucci thrown out with one tweet from Billy Liucci.

Why not?

They probably want a coach that has coached in a bowl the past 2 years

They're definitely going to hire someone to fill the position.

I'm not, but it's common knowledge that they're going to hire someone to fill the OC role.

Or promote James Coley.

I think saying that "they're going to replace the guy they fired" is common sense

I think Garrett Riley was option #1. It has since come out (don’t take this word as gospel) that he wanted to coach in the CFP and wasn’t willing to make a decision or sign anything until after it was over and done with. That would put A&M in a very precarious position with the portal and ESD coming up. You really can’t afford to wait around that long. It has also been reported that he has serious interest in being a head coach, and could possibly get the UNT HC job. So, waiting around for him and he possibly ends up taking a HC job is not a logical route to take at this juncture.

If you want to call that a “whiff” go ahead. It’s more like “not going to work out”. There is a lot more to these hires that just “there’s the best guy, go money whip him.” Had TCU been left out of the CFP, I think things could have possibly gone a different direction.

The narrative that “he flat out turned A&M down” or “Jimbo didn’t want to give up control to Riley” is all bullshite.
