Good point. And I cringe when I hear the talking heads mention UGA as a highly ranked team, because of their schedule.
Fear not Garnet, they will still find a way to choke enough games to give you a fair chance.

Taking obvious things like winning and stadiums out of the picture:
Alabama-A lot of fans with great football knowledge.
Auburn-Eagle flight is pretty cool.
Arkansas-Having a state to yourselves.
LSU- tailgating food.
State-I like how y'all spell out "H E L L" during your fight song.
Florida-Great recruiting base.
Georgia-Athens
Kentucky-Basketball
South Carolina-Spurrier
Tennessee-Stadium on the river/vol navy.
Vandy-Nashville.
Alabama-A lot of fans with great football knowledge.

I'm also jealous of other big time SEC programs (LSU,UF,Auburn)for their recent success, while we are suffering through one of the worst stretches in our proud history.

I remember watching ESPN when Shula was coach and hearing them say that Alabama would never be good again. They had past their prime, and no coach would bring them back.
