Why is that weird?

Southern Baptist is the #2 religion in the state of KY
Basketball is #1 religion in KY

Mormons (at least Utah Utes) and Catholics both know this.

Kentucky has about as many Catholics as Alabama, Georgia, TN, SC, Ark and MS.

Correct. Its weird. All of the Catholics in Alabama are in Mobile and all of the Catholics in Mississippi are in Gulfport/Biloxi
