why in the world is the tournament being held there?

It's a much bigger and better version of Memphis. With casinos.

Eh, its basketball. All or most of the teams go. These events should always rotate. I'd be ok putting the SEC tourney in Memphis or Dallas, and conversely, Tampa or wherever. Give both ends of this large conference the opportunity to go to the tourney.

Baseball should also rotate.

Put it in Jerry's World for one year. Might be fun to play in Cowboys stadium.

Not to mention St. Louis is a shite hole. It's dumb, should be held in Nashville.

Kansas City would be an excellent host as well for the SEC hoops tournament.

Well, hell, why not have it in Denver?

Probably because there isn’t an SEC team in Colorado.

Obvious sarcasm was apparently lost on you. Kemper Arena is in an SEC state by about a block. It's another 3 1/2 hours farther from St. Louis...at least an 8 hour drive for every school but one, and 10-16 hours for most. Makes as much sense as having it in Miami. In other words...none.

Why don't we have the SEC championship football game in Arrowhead Stadium sometime?

No to all 3 and where would you play in Jacksonville BTW?

Nashville should just be the permanent host.Great city and facility and they do a good job.

A quick correction, Kemper Arena is no longer used for basketball. It is part of the American Royal shows. We have a new arena in downtown KCMO called the Sprint Center which also has an adjacent building for the College Basketball Hof. KCMO would be a premium spot with buttloads of history in FFs and NC games, but understand why it wouldn't happen due to distances from other SEC schools.

I live close to Auburn. I'm not driving nine hours for the chance to get shot.

Take out New Orleans, and you've got a good list.

Jax has Memorial Arena which holds 15k. It's comparable to Brigdestone and Scottrade if a bit smaller. If that's too small play it at the Amway in Orlando.
