I wouldn’t expect to see the MBB tournament back in STL for some time. I think it was a bone they threw to Missouri when we entered the league. The angst it has caused is amusing.

I think most of it is just shits and giggles.

It'll be fine.

I don't understand the Tampa thing at all. If you want to play in Florida play in Orlando. Tampa isn't in a new area, doesn't have a "Final Four style dome/stadium", doesn't have a NBA team. I don't get it.

And the last time it was there I'm pretty sure the average attendance was roughly 1,875 per game.

O Look, add this to the list of things anyone who visits St Louis would never go to.

If you knew st louis, the area in which this article takes place, this isnt surprising. This isnt like a downtown business.. its "3rd world" ultra liberal street in the hood.

You do know the BDF site is Kansas City? Why would any self respecting conference want to copy the BDF?

Tampa is probably one of the cheapest place to fly to from St Louis. No one from Missouri is going to complain about it being in Tampa.

The people who are willing to fly are not the ones complaining.
