lol. This ain’t about Jimbo. There are zero similarities between the two. Polar opposites, actually…

E. Kiffin will be Florida’s head coach at the start of the 2024 season after UF fired sun belt billy midway through the 2023 season

Both are mediocre coaches that have sold an sec school that they are great, and then gotten them to pay them ludicrous amounts of money for crappy performances.

Sounds pretty similar.

D. Continues to care less and less about football and focuses his attention on social media and sorority girls.

Besides your point, I’ll add some more context.

Jimbo has blue collar roots from WV. Kiffin had a famous coaching father get him into the business with a silver spoon.

Kiffin made up a fake racist incident to deflect from losing a bowl game this week. Jimbo never did this.

Jimbo has actually been a HC that guided a team to a natty. Kiffin hasn’t.

Both are divorced, but Jimbo got divorced because his wife cheated. Kiffin got divorced because he created an alias called Joey Freshwater to try to score coeds.

I think Kiffin has one epic season and that’s it. He’s a perfect fit for us.

At least Kiffin never had his team forfeit a bowl game when he had enough players to play. Texas A&M Football is the biggest chickencrap program in SEC history.

He’s going to do the Dan Mullen thing where he wins enough to be in the conversation to leave every single year. And eventually he will.

Jimbo s buyout is too small. I see a blue blood stealing Jimbo in the next year or two. That will open up a and m for Kiffin.

He’ll probably get caught up in a nasty love triangle between a local elementary school teacher and her banker husband. Will end with the teacher catching her husband and Lane with a hidden camera and Lane will claim racism then resign.

The advice I would give him is to avoid having a motorcycle accident with a soriety girl on the back.

Ole Miss is about to go through the same BS MSU did with Mullen.

End of season job hopping talk, distraction in recruiting and bowl prep, off season head scratchers (some good, some not good), and then pulls together a decent season next year to keep a lot of fans happy.

Then rinse repeat.

2010 through 2017 was freaking exhausting being an MSU fan because of a lot of this.

He really doesn't have a non win loss scandal that has gotten him fired in the past so why now?

my how quickly people forget.

For those who've forgotten details, here is a quick recap: After a 10-2 season in 2011, USC stumbled in 2012, finishing the year at 7-6, after starting it ranked No. 1 in the country. Many Trojans fans wanted Kiffin gone after that season, but instead, he remained. The reprieve did Kiffin little good, as USC struggled to start the year, losing in Week 2 to Washington State at home. Week 4 produced a narrow 17-14 victory over Utah State, which set up the climatic final night, when the Trojans gave up 63 points to Arizona State, setting up Haden's fateful decision.

Did you even read my post or the OP? What about his departure from USC was him getting fired for a scandal? That is him losing games and getting fired in an undignified fashion. Wasn't about some crazy off the field drama.
