Eli Drinkwitz, who was already making $9M a year, received an extension that will pay him an average of $10.75M per season through 2031
At the time this was announced, it was the greatest news to ever reach LSU fans

He is as good as they can prob get so why not? But yeah...11 mill a year is fricking insane.

I couldn't have supported Drinkwitz or Franklin at LSU.

They are Mizzou not sure who they would get that's better but I'm also not sure they were having to keep people at bay either so who knows.
Dan Devine ain't walking through that door. It's a shame Pinkel non-Hodgkin's lymphoma cut his run short. He still has as many top 4 finishes as them College Station baws do since WWII broke out.

When Mizzou finishes ahead of LSU this football season this will be one of those topics to revisit.
Do you happen to be a betting man per chance? Please advise, thank you.

I did some rechecking and what you said makes sense. That's what I get for believing "it must be true...it's on the internet!" Just call me Mr. Gullible.
Yet you typed out an encyclopedia in bold text.

RamboMizzou is a betting person. I put that bitch in timeout, then pissed her off so bad she couldn’t even honor the bet at a 1:2 ratio and had to rage-post about me.
Most mizzybilt and aggie fans react the same way to me.
With barely any effort at all

It's very similar to how people treat stray dogs that shite in their yard.
And as far as betting goes, what do y'all have in mind?

Yall see what I mean?
There’s one now. >
So stating facts about not winning championships is like shitting in your yard.
Got it.
ETA. It doesn’t take long for me to get a response.
Watch the language deteriorate as we go.

That's because it's asinine to give out such a contract, but we're talking about LSU.
It's easy to point fingers at LSU, but truth is a lot of schools do the same.
Jimbo Fisher-Texas A&M
Bryan Harsin-Auburn
Neal brown-West Virginia
Ryan Walters-Purdue
Tom Herman-Florida Atlantic
And we could go on and on. Granted A&M and LSU are the largest offenders, but it's not like they are the only ones paying out more money to coaches they fired than we will make in our lifetimes.
ETA
What makes it worse is LSU also did it with Ed Orgeron, so....

I saw an article and reprinted it. I put it in bold text to show that it was not my words, but taken from an article.
And, when told it was fake, (Yes, I should have checked more thoroughly) I owned up to it, apologized and bowed out.

Which makes this thread even dumber. No self-awareness from a coonass.

Missouri has basically accepted mediocrity. They must make enough money to not care.
Not everyone gets to be Alabama or Georgia. Drink has built a good culture and improved the program overall. We could easily be in the same place as Arkansas or Kentucky right now. So you say paying for mediocrity, I say paying for stability.

Ed Orgeron got an extension because he won a national championship.
Not because he went 8-5 and lost every ranked game he appeared in.

You're still paying him. That's called dead money and y'all are the kings of dead money.
This entire thread is corndogs hoping that another school has made a financial blunder that might equal LSU athletics over the last 5 years.

To be fair, there's a lot of you crying in it too.

You are a coonass who created a thread about Mizzou. Then you go extra coonass, and bitch about me responding to your tardy take?
GTFO of Missouri.

It was the worst extension in this conference this offseason.
Prove me wrong.

This is something that may actually be worth exploring in a year. It may end up looking like the best extension of the off-season.
