So us paying a couple hundred grand for on-the-field results is comparable to LSU shelling out tens of millions to a guy that doesn't work for them(likely working against them on September 19). This thread was supposed to be about "smart money" but it's not bringing in the smartest of posters, for the most part.

I think stability within a program is VERY important so I was pleased with the extension, especially since there was money earmarked and spent for assistants.
I'm defending my university against a dumb take, but perhaps it coming from a coonass made the defense a little more defensive. For that, I don't apologize.

What's the "dumb take"?

You thinking the contract extension was the worst in the SEC was pretty naive, but knowing what LSU just spent to fire and hire coaches makes it difficult to take your take seriously.

It's that whole self-awareness thing.

Just this offseason. Do you think there was a worse one?

Using this logic, you can't talk shite about BK because he's been better than Drinkwitz. Self-awareness and all. In fact, you can't say anything about LSU ever again or you're a massive hypocrite.

It's difficult to understand why LSU would fire a coach for underachieving after 4 years and hiring a coach that has overachieved in the same conference and was just in the playoff?

Seems pretty straightforward there

I don't GAF about BK. He doesn't coach y'all any longer. ALL of my former BK posts we re about his cringe and his wonderful sense of humor. We're all gonna miss that fancy SOB.

Did I ever say you COULDN'T post something? Just trying to make you aware, since you can't get there yourself.

Drinkwitz is cringe as all get out. Lack of self-awareness on your part. Rules for thee, not for me.

I remember when there was talk about him possibly coming to LSU.

I'm betting that's why that extension happened. They were scared we were gonna take his nerdy arse.

Not even in the same universe. Maybe it's not just yourself that you're not aware of.

Or maybe you're just not aware of how cringe-worthy Drinkwitz actually is. "We stand on business, Josh", fake notes to players, trying to hook his quarterback up with his underage daughters.

Yikes.

It's pretty clear that you have zero self-awareness.

Missouri sure hasn't made your coonass smarter.

You keep attempting to insult my intelligence, but you can't actually point out anything I've said that isn't true.

Telling the truth has NOTGING to do with intelligence. If you were intelligent you'd know that.
