TV execs. They run every other sport already.

The same entity that runs everything now - ESPN.

If you are wiley enough to bend the rules successfully where others were not there is simply no reason to expect that the removal of the rules will level the playing field.

Disagree. There are some schools where “bagmen” were/are part of the culture. It was generational, dad’s and then their sons. Those schools got kids in by giving them $10k or giving a recruit’s mom a better used car.

Now, those bagmen are obsolete….they can’t compete with legal pay where kids make six or seven figures, legally.

So no, the schools that used to cheat better than others will not have the same advantages in pay for play…..the future is a more level playing field. I expect there will be more parity, at least among the programs with well organized NIL collectives.

I meant to add that, a recent example of how NIL changes things, is SC.

The Gamecocks had never signed an out of state 5* until last year. That kid was lured by NIL deals for football and track.

The Gamecocks had never signed two 5* recruits in the same class until this year and those kids signed on after the Gamecocks went 5-7.

Those kids don’t sign with the Gamecocks in a non-NIL world.

With no NCAA what will be regulated?
If I want to sign 120 scholarship players who to say I can’t?
Talking to kids on other teams will be the norm, nobody to say no.
No regulation or oversight or whatever you want to call it means you do what you want with no restrictions?

NIL is about the size of the fanbase, not the price of the weight benches in the equipment room. And you just can't keep up with us.

Which is why NICO told you to fkoff and came to UT. We're rich. You're poor.

Dumbass.

SO you are saying that 1 million people with $1 and a million opinions is the same as 1 person with $1 million and one opinion? No wonder Tennessee is universally considered a silly place, going through life with silly notions will do that.

To be honest I do not know what UGAs NIL finances look like...I suspect they ain't great, given that it is a state school with many alumni from other places where family loyalties may be as strong or stronger elsewhere. What I also do not know but suspect is twofold...the current NIL model is not sustainable and will implode of its own weight eventually AND buying mercenaries to carry your banner has worked rarely in the history of mankind. Time will tell, but historically and financially the current system is not going to be around long.

UGA may be financially poor but UGA is wealthy in high quality QB recruits AND UGA is not QB centric like Tennessee is. UGA won 2 natty's with a QB who was universally known to be below the standard set in the SEC. UGA went undefeated this year in the regular season with a QB that most followers of CFB only know because of his looks. It may well be that UGA has the luxury of riches in coaching talent and on field talent that allows UGA to be picky and choosy about who they make a millionaire. Tennessee, apparently, does not have that luxury. I would take the on field results UGA has enjoyed over those of Tennessee but you do you boo....

SO you are saying that

I'm not saying any of the retarded shlt. I'm saying that UT has more fans than you, MANY more, therefore there is more money to spend on NIL than you have, MUCH more.

But you already knew that.

UGA may be financially poor

Again, you're missing the point. It's not about how much money UGA has, it's about how much money UGA fans, boosters, etc., have.

I know this shite isn’t coming from a Tennessee fan directed at any other school. TN has two whole teeth more than West Virginia. This has to be an alter

One, and only one, good thing about all this mess is if players are considered employees & unionized, the schools can make them sign service contracts. This would, at least on paper, stop all the transferring.

GUMPS whining about cheating?

Rich.

Everything WE did was legal and above board.

Everything YOU did was under the table and cheating.
