LSU/Ole Miss loses its luster after both teams drop their openers.

Clemson was bad last year and will be even worse this year. They're a bad football team in a weak conference

Losing to FSU in a season opener is something LSU fans are very familiar with.

.500 is generous. FSU finished 5-7 (2-6 ) Good for 14th place in the powerhouse ACC

It was a pretty inspiring 14 point loss for them though. I think that effort combined with their 21 and 35 points losses to end they year is what motivated their AD to lock up DeBoer and make him one of the highest paid coaches in the country
