And by seasons end, will be full low tide for the gumps. LSU & Georgia will see to it!

Until we keep Alabama out of Atlanta for two consecutive years, I won’t assume it.

I don’t agree. They have higher rated players, sure, but Saban apparently has gotten lazy about scouting.

I don’t agree. Our top 40 on our roster has surpassed Bama. In terms of starters - We have better QB, better WR’s, better or equal OL, better or equal DL, better LB’s.

Our top players are better than theirs. While we do have good or good enough depth this year (not last year) in my opinion, the players on their roster 41-85 are better than ours.

This impacts special teams and injuries.

They're gonna look like 2013-2015 bama again pretty soon.

Murderball is back.

Theyve got the bigs to do it.

1. They don’t have the backs for it; 2. That style of football doesn’t even win the west in 2023.

It doesn't have to be the same system.

They're gonna push people around and wear people out more than the tua/young air game

I mean hell, nick brosette. Good, not great. 1000yd sr season.

It can be done in the SEC without a Fournette/Henry

I wish I shared you all’s optimism. Nick Saban has produced more national championships than any other coach. So as he would say, this is rat poison. I do believe we are poised to ascend to the top most tier, but we still have to play the games. I believe Kelly is creating the football machine that we all want. But we have to see if he can hire competent coaches to replace the ones that will inevitably move on. We have to see if he builds offensive and defensive schemes to maximize players’ abilities. I think he’s the guy, but it’s too early to say. Saban has proven that he can do all of those things. Alabama will put a quarterback on the field. They will run an offense that is designed around what that quarterback can do, not what they wish he can do. Bama will be very good this year. Many have opined on other threads that LSU is not very deep and that injuries could be devastating. That’s what Saban teams do, grind opponents down, and exert their will in the fourth quarter. I think we finally have a coach who understands the game inside the game, is a capable game time coach, and has what it takes to be the year round coach, ie…tutoring, nutrition, teaching the players life skills that keep them out of trouble etc… So while I am guardedly optimistic, about LSU, I ain’t eating the rat poison about Alabama.

I heard that his wife mentioned this to a neighbor. It’s true.

LSU fans have been saying for over a year that y'all have been behind the 8-ball because Kelly only had 39-40 players on scholarship when he got to LSU. Now you are saying it only takes 40?

Are you saying that UGA plays Bama this year?

So that means they either win the West or make the CFP
