And yes, Tennessee won their second and final poll era national championship in 1998. Georgia won their first and only national championship in 1980.

LSU has more NC’s than Auburn since 2000, and two more since 1900. I would say historically LSU is better than Auburn 
Auburn claims 2 NCs 1957 and 2010, LSU claims 4 with a legit arugument LSU could claim 1908, 1935, and 1936 as well.
Auburn is not the powerhouse you are claiming but they are a Big 6 member
