#2 USED to be Tennessee, the waters have gotten very murky though.

You can make a case for LSU at #2 now. Tennessee probably slipped to 3 at this point with Florida on their heels at 4.

Your ratings are way off historically:

1. Alabama not close Frist national title 1925 13 total. 916-331-43 71 Bowl games 27 SEC titles

2. Tennessee dropping like rocky top collapsed. 2 846-395-53 53 Bowl games 13 SEC titles 0.67427

3. LSU small edge over Georgia, these two swaps spots all the time over 70 years. 5 (NCAA count) 4 LSU count 812-415-47 52 Bowl games 12 SEC titles

4. Georgia 1 total 831-425-54 56 Bowl games 13 SEC titles

5. Florida 735-420-40 9 conference titles 45 Bowl games 3 0.63052

6. Auburn 776-445-47 8 conference titles 44 Bowl games 2 0.63180

Edge on LSU over Georgia is total National Championships and a slim edge on all time winning percent.
0.65581 vs 0.65496 This is the closest one in the SEC, Florida has a close edge on Auburn as well.

Also LSU played one more Bowl game, the Havana post season game in 1907, they did not call them Bowl games back in those days....

that brings up why does the NCAA count the first Rose tourney game, as it was not called a Bowl game as well back in those days?

These conference titles do not count the older SIAA conference or the Southern Conference (LSU won 3 in the SIAA and 1 in Southern, I can do all the schools if you want).

I'm assuming you are speaking of football only. clearly alabama is 1 in this category, no debate. But florida is questionable. despite recent success under meyer and some success under spurrier, they were pretty much a nobody in the SEC up until the 90s. UGA hasn't been relevant since 1980, except for maybe the last couple of yers. no argument on auburn and LSU, Tennessee hasn't been relevant since the late 90s and they were always in the shadow of UA, AU, LSU, and florida.

UGA has a winning record against UT, Auburn and Florida. I would guess that ALabama has winning record against all top 5 and Florida has a losing record against 4 of the top 6 most likely.

We have winning records against LSU and Tennessee. Down 4 to Auburn and 9 to both UGA and Alabama.

Historically you should add GT they were only in the SEC for 30 years but racked up quite a total. They were also in the old Southern and SIAA Confernces with most of the old SEC. They won 13 conference titles with 5 being SEC. They went to 16 bowl games between 1928 and 1962. And had 4 Naties playing SEC caliber teams. And have 3 more unclaimed. They went 207-110 in that 30 year SEC span. They had two undefeated teams and 3 one loss teams. They also have 10 College Football Hall of Fame inductees and two coach inductees.

I now know why Georgia feels like they’ve never accomplished much . 1980
