This is the strength of our team, should be a really physical group. Should really be nasty running off left. Stenberg has turned into a monster.

C Drake Jackson 6’2 313 4 Star Junior
RG Luke Fortner 6’6 304 3 Star Junior

That's right. Should be a great match up up front.

LT Yasir Durant SR 6’7” 330 3 year starter, NFL player
LG Trevour Wallace-Simms SR 6’5” 330 3 year starter, NFL player (best of the bunch)
C Trystan Colon-Castillo JR 3 year starter 6’4” 315, NFL player
RG Larry Borom 6’6” 340 SO First year starter
RT Hyrin White 6’6” 305 SO First year starter

If there is a bigger OL in the country then there aren’t many of them.

Right now, it's Trey Smith. He's been practicing with the ones and as long as his health is good, he'll start. If Trey doesn't start then our entire OL lineup and positions will shift.

5 redshirt seniors is pretty impressive. I think that matters more than people realize. Players really do get a lot better as they grow and age and get experience.

Edit: Although that's a pretty light group, especially for all 5th year seniors. I guess with all the misdirection Gus likes to do, he favors smaller, quicker linemen?

That's especially true on OL.

Crazy to think that with all 300lb+ we are light, relatively speaking

wut? I have seen them ranked ahead of Bama's oline in some publications. Auburn been playing possum in the off season.

Auburn fans are claiming that it is the worst OL in Auburn history.

We're not buying it, Aubie.

But take that with a large grain of salt. Arkansas is going to have, barring a miracle, a very patchwork O-Line this year.

I expect the Arkansas O-Line to be better than it was last year. But not strong enough to protect Starkel at QB. He has a good arm, but he is as mobile as a statue. He makes Tom Brady look like Michael Vick, by comparison.

We never really got to see him much before he broke his ankle. It is possible that slowed him down.

I think Hicks will be the starting QB for the Hogs this year. He has better mobility, which will help behind a shaky line.

OU's Oline was totally exposed by Alabama. They got that reputation while playing absolutely no good DLs in the Big 12. I realize several got drafted. Doesn't change the fact that they were overrated.

ALABAMA
LT - Alex Leatherwood, JR (6-6, 322 lbs) (5-star, #1 OT)
LG - Evan Neal, FR (6-7.5, 360 lbs) (5-star, #1 OT)
C - Emil Ekiyor, FR (6-3, 342 lbs) (4-star, #3 OC)
RG - Matt Womack, SR (6-7, 324 lbs) (3-star, #69 OT)
RT - Jedrick Wills Jr, JR (6-5, 314 lbs) (4-star, #7 OT)

Also will play significant minutes
> Utility - Landon Dickerson, JR (6-5, 310 lbs) (4-star, #4 OT) (FSU Transfer)
> C - Chris Owens, JR (6-3, 307 lbs) (4-star, #10 OG)
> G - Deonte Brown, JR (6-4, 350 lbs) (4-star, #9 OG) (Suspended for 4 games)

Owens/Dickerson are still in the mix to start as well - especially Owens. It's very possible Owens starts at C and Ekiyor starts at G, or Owens starts at C and Neal starts at G. Some combo of those 3 will be in those 2 spots, though.
