It might be cool to have a thread where posters just provide factual info about their expected starters, with no flaming. I'll start:

RT: Marcus Tatum - 6'6, 313 - Junior started in 5 games last year, played in all 12. Could eventually lose starting position to True Freshman Darnell Wright or Chris Akporoghene.

I think it would be cool if we had a thread where we could find this info for each team when we wanted. We could take time to do the same thing for other position groups, too, if this works. Or, we could make one mega thread, where the information is organized for all the teams.

Edit: I will add info to the top post when I can. Thanks for posting the info!

They were saying on ESPN college radio this morning that UGA should take over for OU as the best line in CFB.

UGA's line, I'm sure, will be fantastic. Wouldn't it be nice to have all of that data on this thread, where everyone could see for themselves? All it would take would be 5 minutes of putting it together and posting it!

I wouldn't be so sure. Oregon has a big experienced athletic oline returning this year.

LT: Andrew Thomas, 6'5 320 JR- Most like a first round pick-Returning starter
LG: Solomon Kindley, 6'4 327 RSJR- Most likely entering the draft-Returning starter
C: Trey Hill, 6'4 330, Soph
RG: Big Ben Cleveland, 6'7 341, RSJR-Most likely will enter the draft-Returning starter
RT: Isaiah Wilson, 6'8 345, RSSoph,-Will enter the draft with a good year-Returning starter

Also have Cade Mays and Jamaree Salyer backing up. Both were 5 star recruits who played a lot last year and can fill in if we get an injury.

i'm somewhat surprised that you have so many 3 stars with how well A&M has recruited. although most teams, even top teams, have some 3 stars because of the shortage of top OL.

I was offered a starting position on the line a year ago. People from the stands were being press ganged to be our starting LT. That super hefty Miss. State cheerleader? We tried to sign her but she was out of eligibility.

Joking aside. I am not sure that all the positions will be settled until we run out the tunnel for the first game.

Projected is:

LT: Colton Jackson
LG: Austin Capps
C: Ty Clary
RG:Shane Clenin
RT: Dalton Wagner

But take that with a large grain of salt. Arkansas is going to have, barring a miracle, a very patchwork O-Line this year.

Ours has been horrific the past two years, and might not be that much better this year, but here it is:

Left Tackle: Colton Jackson 6'5, 298 (5th year SR, was a 291 pound 3*/4*, has started 22 games)
Left Guard: Austin Capps 6'4, 304 (5th year SR, was a 307 pound 4* as a DT, moved from DL to OL last year and played in 11 games)
Center: Ty Clary 6'4 285 (3rd year JR, was a 275 pound 2* blueshirt, 15 starts)
Right Guard: Shane Clenin 6'6, 302 (3rd year SO, was a 285 pound 3*, played in 7 games as a RS FR last year)
Right Tackle: Dalton Wagner 6'9, 308 (3rd year SO, was a 312 pound 3*/4*, played in 11 games as a RS FR last year)

Will also play a lot and likely take over somewhere at some point: Myron Cunningham 6'6, 290 (JR JUCO transfer, 3* but ranked as one of top JUCO OL in '19 class)

The Hogs: another shitty OL when you have Ty Clary and Colton Jackson still starting.

maybe, but they have more combined starts than everybody else and a lot of pro prospects, and they open up with what should be a good SEC dline, so we will find out right away if they are the real deal

This is our weak spot in 2019.

Florida's expected starting offensive line:
Left Tackle: Forsythe 6'7, 329 (4th year JR)
Left Guard: Heggie 6'4, 330 (4th year JR)
Center: Buchanan 6'3 283 (5th year SR)
Right Guard: Bleich 6'6, 330 (2nd year FR)
Right Tackle: Delance 6'4, 314 (4th year JR)

Buchanan was the starting center last year, as would have been Heggie but he got hurt. Forsythe and Delance have not been starters but have plenty of experience. I think our first unit will be very serviceable, but our depth is where we will fall off production.

They are anticipated to be there weakness of our team and, combined with Gus, will likely lead to a mediocre season.

FYI Mays has been getting the #1 RG reps every practice so far. I'm sure Cleveland will play A LOT but if things hold form it looks like Mays is looking at starting

It would not surprise me if he cracks the starting line up sooner rather then later.

I will say, as odd as this sounds, our O-Line was good with Pittman coaching it and was the drizzling poo with Kurt Anderson coaching it, but part of Pittman's success was having the right QB under center.

Brandon Allen had tremendous pocket awareness. He wasn't extremely mobile but he was hard to sack because he would throw the ball away, dump it off, or scramble if a defender was close to him.

Even though Petrino recruited him... he would have made a lousy Petrino QB in the mold of stand back there and take monster hits in the hopes of completing one more big pass.
