Tulane has beat Duke, which is one of the better ACC teams, along with Northwestern who is a lower mid tier B1G team

FSU just lost to one of the worst teams in FBS, and is the worst team in the worst P4 conference

“Top 20 talent” - sure, #19 in composite, but it’s a bunch of guys who didn’t live up to expectations and transferred. If they were re rated they would be more like the 40-50th most talented team

HS composite ranking means less than ever

Bama scheduled with a team that is 1-11 in the ACC over the past two seasons. G5 teams have a better record against ACC teams over that period.

Do you think Alabama just picked up the phone last year and scheduled the FSU game?

The good news for Auburn is they don’t have the two current premier programs in the SEC on their schedule every season for the foreseeable future

It’s not bamas fault FSU and Wisconsin turned out to be complete dog shite

But you also don’t get to pretend they are good teams. They are two of the worst teams in FBS

We can't help that South Carolina sucks.

Also, compare how teams are winning those games.

Vandy beat those 5 teams by a combined 245-86.

This is stupid. The season isn’t over. Tough games ahead for some, cupcakes for others. South Carolina was top ten preseason, now they’re not. Same for many others. Other teams weren’t at all ranked and now are. You can’t evaluate a schedule until it’s 100% complete.

These are fluid and change every week. In your own example you crap on Vandy because their best win is #19 LSU. But LSU was #10 when they played and are now 19 because Vandy beat them.

These are the only two schools that were made to kick off their conference slate with two road games.

Vandy started their SEC schedule @ South Carolina and @ Bama. BTW, Carolina was ranked #11 when we beat them. We played at Virginia Tech which is a tough place to play and humiliated them. You fail to consider the fact that when we beat teams, we tend to ruin them. It’s happened for years. Teams can be having a fine season, then if we beat them they’re psychologically damaged beyond repair.

Vandy’s schedule at the start of the season was considered very hard. What you knuckleheads can’t seem to wrap your heads around is that when Vandy is good, they add an unexpected loss to teams expecting that win and it mucks things up. Sorry.

There is no way that FL doesn't have the hardest schedule in America.

Any list that doesn't have them as having the hardest SOS is shite.

he weirdly selected “median opponent” as a barometer of SOS

How’s that weird? Does it really matter whether you play the #100 ranked OOC cupcake instead of the #200? Both should be automatic wins.

Looking at each team’s median opponent is the best way to see how many hard games and how many cupcakes everyone has played to date.

Sorry you’re an idiot.

Then post them. I would imagine they are very similar.

Oklahoma wasn't an upper tier SEC program coming into the season. I'm not sure A&M was either

They were both Preseason Top 20 in the AP poll.

It would suck for the fans but until it’s a rule that you have to play a good power 4 opponent we should all schedule easy games instead like the other 3 conferences do. The SEC is hard enough

That's fine. To date Bama has still played the second hardest schedule in the country, after only UF.

That’s not how SP+ works. Teams don’t move up or down based on wins or losses. It’s a metric based loosely on success rate, etc. LSU has been in the #15-#20 range for most of the season.
