Then, check out active KKK and/or hate Groups by State, I'd bet without looking that TX is probably top 5 in each category.

There are large parts of our shared history where we collectively sucked, and unfortunately, that shittiness still exists in many pockets around the US. But, you are fooling yourself if you think the biased stereotypes of the South by those outside of the south don't pertain to TX, as well.
