You can typically tell a graduate by their cool demeanor, unwavering loyalty, and the respect that they have for others, all of these borne from the security they have in their person, as a graduate. Then there’s the other type of “fan”. Let’s take a moment to address this plague that affects all of our schools.

That embarrassing fan who makes an arse of himself in public while proudly brandishing your school’s hat and t-shirt he bought from Wally World but couldn’t find his way around campus if he ever wandered on to its grounds.

That drunkard who verbally accosts and harasses visiting fans of opposing teams at tailgate in your alma mater’s name.

The idiot who trolls incessitently on the Rant despite never having spent a semester at your school.

We all have them, even Vandy, do you think the Whistlers actually went there?

No.

Let’s unite to face this common foe by naming and shaming them.
