This is the first time I've felt good about a football decision since about 2014/2015... (I didn't like the Malzahn extension for reference).

I think freeze is an offensive genius but his weakness is taking games off “emotionally” if that makes sense. He would go play like the 300 Spartans against Alabama then lose to Memphis with NFL talent. The emotional coaching approach is awesome for big games but it gets you beat in the trap games

Auburn is usually a tough team. This changes nothing. The best part of the SEC is the competition. It guarantees you a spot in the playoffs if you win. Not every undefeated team has an automatic path. We do

Auburn will have about as bad a roster coming back next season as you can have. Freeze is going to have a very rough year one. And as we found out with Gus, gimmicky spread offenses may land you a lot of undersized, high-star "athletes", but those athletes don't fair well against top SEC position players.
