Otherwise crown’em. And probably crown’em anyway. Clear cut favorite to the football intelligence. Once rested they will be back to game 1 looking dawgs

I don’t think we match up well with Oregon - outside of that I think we will beat who we play.

Well yeah, the teams not in the playoffs won’t play Georgia

I mean vols and Texas. Other teams can’t beat them. Not physical enough

Running QB with lots of run pass conflict and small slot receivers - not what we typically play well against

Big assumption that UGA gets out of their own way and actually gets stopped by a defense instead of their own stone hands receivers

Texas aint beating georgia. we already know that. Which leaves us with "Tennessee is only team with a chance to beat Georgia in the playoff"

Probably.

UGA has played both Texas and Tennessee and beat them. Twice in the case of Texas. If those are the only teams with a chance... UGA is much better than I think they are.

Honestly I think there are a lot of teams in the playoff who can beat UGA if they have an off day. We've shown we can do that pretty often this season.

UGA is probably the best team in the country. That includes Oregon. I don't see a 100% healthy Oregon beating a 100% healthy Georgia. Downside for UGA is that Beck can be very inconsistent and WRs drop passes. In a downside UGA case, which they even beat Texas in a downside game, I think there's 3 or so teams that can beat them. Oregon, Ohio St.. maybe that's it. I'd say Bama too but they aren't in the playoffs.

People will laugh at how DEI even football has become by accepting SMU over Bama. This was clearly an emotional bias pick. People tired of Bama winning and don't want them in. It'd be the same exact thing with the Chiefs and Mahomes except there's no human intervention in the NFL playoffs. It's solely based off record instead of humans picking. If there was an NFL picking committee, Chiefs would probably get ousted because most people don't want them winning. Same thing for when Brady was on the Patriots.

Most people show hatred on those they are jealous of. I kind of have a saying I made up "You'll never see anyone hate on the janitor at your company, but you will see that for their boss and CEO"

fricking what

Also I find it hilarious that you bring up how the NFL is purely record based which using that means Bama would still not get in

The CEO that got shot in NYC was killed by another wealthy highly intelligent nerd. In that particular case, I’d be happy as a clam to be the janitor of United Healthcare instead of the guy who got whacked

We have a brand new qb, so it’s a silly take.

Don’t really care who the qb is. The same Georgia team we saw during the season was roughed up played a guantlet. Couldn’t quite impose their will like what we used to see. That will change. In the trenches. Linebackers. Will overwhelm opponents. I don’t think uga will even have a close game till the final

For the record, I’m fine with all of that

Oregon has the weakest looking defense I've seen for a top-ranked team. Very unphysical. They're going to have to outscore everybody. Unlikely when they run up against a solid D like the 3 SEC playoff teams feature.

40-35
24-3

Against 6-6 teams. That’s why Bama don’t get in.

Georgia would have been 9-4 (lost to both Ga Tech and the second time vs Texas) if it weren't for the Zebras.
