Your not. Just misinterpreted your original as finish 8-1 vs your intended and stated finish the "remainder" of the schedule 8-1

My bad. Blame my impatient behavior and Bama education.

Everyone is saying lsu is garbage, QB is garbage, Pelini sux, O sux and Brady ran the offense. But let's face it:
LSU was without 17 starters from last year
Stingley didn't play
No home field advantage with few fans
Barely had normal practice
Brennan hasn't started a game in 4 years

So yes, LSU was rusty. They will finish the rest of their schedule 8-1.

Let's not forget, UGA lost to south Carolina and got throttled by lsu last year and Bama lost to LSU and Auburn. Losses happen. This past Saturday was pretty much a scrimmage. Even Oklahoma lost (which is much worse since it was game 2 or 3 for them)

That typically happens when a team is undefeated for a season.

Oh, please - a great offensive team but not even close to the greatest overall team of all time. Outplayed by a 5 loss Texas team but stumbled into a win, 3 point win vs 4 loss AU at home, struggled mightily vs UF but pulled away late, 5 point win vs Bama's worst defense since 2007. All time great teams don't have those kind of struggles throughout the year. Many past teams were better and more dominant overall.

You didn't watch that game apparently.

Why are you including the loss to LSU in your disparagement of LSU's win over Auburn.

5 point win vs Bama's worst defense since 2007

I suppose this is technically true but their 2014 defense only gave up .2 less points per game and the 2018 defense only gave up .5 less points per game.

Alabama's defense hasn't been that bad the last two years, Bammers are just expecting 2011 results against 2019 offenses which isn't realistic.

Not saying 2019 was the best team of all time but some of your points aren't really true.

Costello hasn’t hardly played in 2 years due to injury last year.

Stop making excuses. You were out coached and out played

It’s one thing beating LSU and the satisfaction it brings. then there is the glory of it playing out on the SEC rant.

Hell, if anything that’s worse for State being they had new schemes On both sides of the ball to learn under a new staff with a QB who just stepped on campus a few months ago.

Last two years, Alabama's defense had so many injuries that it was unrecognizable. If Alabama only had half of those injuries it is a different story.

Like I said, Bammers are expecting 2011 results against 2019 offenses.

I laugh anytime a Bammer talks about "getting back" to shut down defense and pounding the ball, luckily Saban is smarter than the majority of your fanbase.

The best for LSU, but there are other contenders. LSU did very well, and their team is one of the tops all-time, but just for example, Nebraska, 1971 beat the #2, #2, #3 teams that year (#2 and #3 teams finished there in the poll, the other #2 they beat in the bowl) and they only had 1 close game.

You are being foolish, and showing very little knowledge of football.

Edit to add- What is the one conference that has never made the NC game in the playoffs? Mike Leach's air raid offense was shut down by Mike Shula's Alabama defense (even with injuries) in 2005 Cotton Bowl.

Your new DC is a well known moron. How did Coach O not know that? In game one Pelini's DBU exhibits the the worst pass defense ever in our storied SEC. It's gonna be a long year for you. Pray for COVID refief.

Was it really or was it because someone threw the ball 60 times in a traditionally run heavy conference?

2019 Alabama gave up just as many yards per attempt against Burrow as 2020 LSU did against Costello and Burrow had several other games where he threw for more yards per attempt than Costello had Saturday.

Like I said its good for you that Saban is smarter than the majority of your fanbase.

He recognized that he wouldn't be able to simply shutdown the new offensive wrinkles that coaches started adding most notably the RPO.
