Of course they have the votes. Those of you thinking this is all some type of power play are missing the point.

This is a done deal

Sanctions for what? LSU has done nothing wrong, yet Ole Miss has a quarterback playing who is ineligible. This is nothing but a witch hunt. There are other schools with these same players on their rosters and LSU has zero.

Now I’m kind of hoping they do. “LSU expelled after breaking no rules”

Ridiculous

ESPN would sue the shite out of the SEC if they expelled LSU.

Is it a coincidence that this comes out after the media is positive for LSU after the game instead of toxic? I don't think so.

I am curious what ESPN would do. LSU could join any conference and be the most watch program immediately except for B1G.

Top 10 Most-Watched CFB Teams (2025 Average Viewership)
Alabama: 8.49 million
Texas: 7.55 million
Georgia: 7.48 million
Ohio State: 6.57 million
Oklahoma: 6.47 million
LSU: 6.42 million
Tennessee: 6.21 million
Auburn: 5.26 million
Michigan: 5.08 million
Texas A&M: 4.99 million

If one can sue over individual players I'm sure there would be lawsuits over expelling a public university from a Multi Billion dollar organization they they helped found.

My oh my what discovery could look like in such a lawsuit.
Not so sure my friends in Alabama would want that.

Imagine a certain former Alabama coach testifying under oath.

I'm actually HOPING for it as well.

If it ever happened, LSU would immediately raid the SEC for other schools to join us and I think it happens. Further, I think this entire exercise is going to result in some SEC presidents losing their jobs.
