Ya know, the same could be asked if you.

Just sayin

What if half of our money is being stolen and only half, or less of the money currently collected is actually needed to run the country?
quote:

If you can't recognize what these people are going has gone far beyond "questioning ICE" or peacefully protesting, then you're intellectually dishonest and not worth trying to reason with.

I get it and agree in the big picture.
However I am looking at this instance.

These people would live to see every ICE agent dead on the street. They hate ICE. But that is not relevant to this topic.

This lady was not approached by the ICE agent because the crowds there hate ICE, was she? He went to her to shove her down. I'm just curious why. Was she somehow interfering from her side of the street?
quote:

Better question. Why was the stupid bitch interfering with ICE doing their job

I keep hearing this and agree that is an arrestable offense.

1. What actions or activities were they doing across the street that was obstructive?
2. Why was she not arrested if interfering?

I get we are all opposed to those opposing ICE, as am I, but that does not mean we can't question ICE and there actions when we see things that don't make sense
quote:

They are not protesters. They cease being that when they follow ICE and begin obstructing agents. At that point everyone there is committing a federal felony and they need to start treating them like that.

Standing on sidewalk?

Pushing them down or arresting them?
quote:

Interference with an operation is why.

That I get, and agree with. But standing on the sidewalk isn't that is it?
This is not a condemnation of the shooting. The guy resisted while he had a gun, anyone doing that job in that moment would have reason to fear for their life.

Clearly the protestors and agitators do not want ICE doing their job, arresting people in the country illegally.

I do support them in their mission, however that is not to say everything they do is right and that there are no bad apples.

So, why the aggression here that led to the attempted arrest and shooting? Was there an active operation going on on that side of the street that was being interfere with? If so, why not arrest her instead of shoving her down?

Can law enforcement do their job without undue violence? Arresting those that interfere with appropriate force to safely apprehend the offenders?

It is possible to support law enforcement doing there job while also wanting them to be held to certain standard of conduct .

3x Trump voter here and I agree with you.

Settlements because of what students were protesting?

Allowing harassment I get, but protests?

hawkeye007 who claimed to be a mortgage 'expert' with 21 years of experience called it QE, which it isn't, and also said 'rates are not going down anytime soon'

I can vouch for his experience; he and I worked together way back when.

I did not see the post but $200B is not that much compared to QE numbers . There were trillions spent QE, this $200B is not really much by comparison and I do not think this will move rates much.
I'm sure he would play hard for his Ole Miss money next year if blocked from leaving.

Not saying it doesn’t happen but you would have to be an idiot to actually get caught tampering “directly” with a player now days. The system is setup to be able to easily make contact with their representation. This tampering bs all started with Ole Miss and their threats against LSU because of the coaches being there physically and has taken on a whole new meaning on social media. It’s not an actual enforceable thing or rule how the system is structured currently.

Can you argue tampering, when are literally paying the coach to have contact with that player.

The coaches in question may be LSU employees but aren't Ole Miss also?

I just don't see a tampering charge against any coach talking to players they still coaching.
Been wondering, if the same set of circumstances occurred and the shooter was a civilian, would the civilian be arrested?

Maybe more people will quit buying things they can’t afford

Due to lower rates?
People need to stop being fricking idiots and people need to stop defending people for acting like idiots.

Arrest idiots, don't shoot them.

Shoot is probably legal, but do you really think he had no other choice?

Also, kill people for resisting arrest? What would that body count be?
quote:

don't forget Biden and his administration declared half of Americans extremists and terrorists as well as threatened us with the use of US military on us.

This announcement by Noem is not where the definition was changed. This is just the Trump admin using the 'new rules' of the left against the left.

Shoe is now on the other foot.

I don't disagree.
But I still don't like it.

Criminal yes, terrorist no
Terrorism meant something much more different when I was young.

The left isnt the only ones changing the meaning of words
quote:

Yes. Trying to kill NAZIS. These people think our government is kidnapping citizens and disappearing them. You really think those types of people are incapable of rationalizing murdering those doing the disappearing?

I am not looking at the big picture at all. I am not considering "these" people. I am looking at one instance where I do not see someone trying to run over someone else. I see someone not obeying the police and trying to escape, not trying to run over someone who stepped in front of and then to the side of the vehicle.

My view of the big picture, which I think you and I agree on, does not color my view of any individual situation.
So, these cops can do nothing to cause you to consider their actions wrong because it is a tough job?

Every shooting should be critiqued.

To many are determining the shooting was clean because of their view on immigration. Thinking that condemning the shooter is anti immigration enforcement.

You can be pro ICE and acknowledge they are human and not all humans are good. The shooter did wrong, killed when he could have avoided it.

Not all cops are bad
Not all cops are good.
