Perfectly aligned for easy games before big games

UG, OU, & LSU have the week off before playing UA.

UA, VU, & Ark have the week off before playing LSU.

You're crying about gimme games, bye weeks, & what's perfectly aligned. LSU effectively has bye weeks before their arguably three toughest games. Off before UM, off before UA, VU before playing OU.

A&M has the easiest schedule we've had in years. Basically, the hardest team on the schedule is Mizzou.

Alabama does run the SEC office though.

Y’all should make the playoff then! I’ll be sure to check back in with you in December to see your thoughts on how the season went!

We just might. It will depend on the OL.

We avoid Alabama
We avoid UGA
We avoid Ole Miss

LSU will have a new QB. Texas will have Ewers if he hasn't been knocked out for the season by then. Hardest team is honestly Mizzou

Lots of talk to get 5 wins. 8&4 at best.

The bama schedule is pretty favorable. Bye week before Georgia, getting Georgia early in the year before they've had their traditional 2 month tune up. Bye week before LSU, although they are set to suck next year anyway. Big OOC opponent is Wisconsin, who sucks. Biggest challenge will be Oklahoma. Auburn is a guaranteed blowout at home. I think we are sitting pretty

Honestly this doesn’t look much different from what we’re used to

Dang. I forgot to memorize all of my favorite team’s opponents schedules.
C’mon, me.

It's not 12 teams. It's 11 teams, 1 group of 5 team and at least 4 of the 11 are going to be automatic conference champs so still dicy to an extent if you are not a conference champ.

Well the requirement for some teams to play certain teams added to the difficulty of the schedules. I’m not against permanent opponents by any means but it’s just logistically impossible for a team like Alabama for example to have Auburn as a permanent and only schedule Vandy and Kentucky as the other conference games every year to even it out.

I think you’re being shortsighted about the 2024 schedules. Some years will be brutal, some easy. There’s nothing different now than before except there are new kids on the block.

Yes..... yes you do. Not sure how bama will make it to their first bye week without a loss or two.

Aug. 31: vs Western Ky
Sept. 7: vs USF
Sept. 14: at Wisconsin
Sept. 21: Bye
