Huh. For me she usually has her mouth full, then she's breathing heavy, then she lays there dazed giggling at the ceiling. She's not talking, much less telling me what to do. But she doesn't peg me either. I guess she has to scratch that itch somewhere

Nah. From what I was told is that JA is going down as the fall man. Someone has to be fired and since he is the AD, he is the chosen position to be replaced. This works because of his history at Duke. I really cannot believe that they are going to flip it now and say they are doing this for the fans. Ill admit, I was wrong in my previous posts that they wouldnt do it.

I could see one of two things happening:
1) Joe getting fed up with all the political BS at LSU and just quitting.
or
2) The board wields its power (so basically politics) and decides to cut Joe loose (the fall man as you say).
I think Joe is in good with F. King so he has no worries there. The board would be the one to make this happen. With Louisiana politics, nothing ever surprises me.
Incidentally, LSU had another AD with a Duke connection. Bob Brodhead, QB along with Sonny Jurgensen on the 1958 Orange Bowl squad from Duke. He wrote a book about being AD at LSU. Maybe Alleva can use his newly found free time to write a book.

Brodhead was actually a pretty good AD.
