I’ve never understood the conference pride thing.
I pull for my team and F the rest of you.

It's game over for me. I'll never attend another Georgia game. I'll try to stay up on January 1, on a Thursday night at 8:00 for a game that probably won't start til 8:30. Shits ridiculous

Op this situation has been locked in to happen ever since the B1G and SEC TV contracts were signed. B1G gets vastly more TV money per school. Mo money = better players
You have to be Bagdad Bob to deny what has happened.

It’s funny how level the playing field is now that everyone can pay players lol

Yep all this came about because of the schools like
Ohio State
Alabama
Georgia
Michigan
USC
Oregon
Clemson
Texas
Paying players under the table and escalating facilities war. Other schools looking for revenue streams brought on the NIL lawsuits in order to compete! Coaches not contractually obligated to stay until end of season helped bring on the transfer portal.
ESPN is also responsible for much of this mess because its pundits pushed pay-for-play and the transfer portal at every turn. Now they are crying and saying something has to be done about this! Hypocrites! Their involvement in ownership and televising bowl games and college football awards didn’t help either. Their pushing certain teams over others for tv ratings has lessened credibility and thus interest.
If you want to watch true college ball then watch academy ball and lower division football. Division 1 has turned into NFL lite with no rules and a shite show!

Nobody would give a shite if Sark hadn't choked on applesauce against Washington abandoning the run even though we were averaging 7.5 YPC or if he hadn't choked on applesauce vs OSU handing the suckeyes 7 free points at halftime then the ultimate betrayal of failing to score from 1st and goal at the 1 before turning that into more suckeye points.
If you need to blame anyone blame Sark.

This thread is pure gold: Not one of you made any comments like this for decades when your teams were beating everyone with paid for players. You guys blasted teams for losing, like GT to UGA, every year when the game was fake. One team had hired mercenaries while the other had students. Now that everyone can buy mercenaries the sport is over and needs to be reformed? You guys are a joke.
What happened to “iron sharpening iron” that SEC fans have been taunting everyone else with for decades? Just take your losses like men and acknowledge these other conferences can play ball too.

This is hilarious coming from a LSU fan sucks Bama has to share the same conference with a team like LSU that just lost to the University of Dallas at San Antonio in a bowl game. What an embarrassment. Historically, even Auburn is better than yall.

SEC is now 2-5 in bowls/playoffs with 1 of those wins coming against another SEC team and the other coming against a G5 team.

Okay fine. The SEC was cheating and no one else was (because you say so) therefore anything that was accomplished during that time is null and void.
Now that the Big-10 is dominating during NIL and unlimited transfers it is a true representation of real college football.

The SEC's dominance over college football the past 30 years has produced insane levels resentment. Any time the SEC loses a game or even wins ugly, they all come out of the woodwork.
All anyone will remember is the playoffs. They're gonna look extremely stupid if defective 3 loss Alabama takes Indiana to the wood shed.

We fired our coach, had a dozen players opt out and still made it a game against Houston.
Perhaps the saddest post by a corndog in recorded history.

Didn't Georgia Tech lose?

Yes. And we aren’t whining. And we sure haven’t been beating our chest the past 20 years because we were winning games by cheating. That’s the difference. Listen, I have no problem with cheating and I’ve been a long advocate for GT to use the bagman system like Auburn, UGA, Clemson, and FSU was doing. I am friends with several Auburn and UGA bagmen down here in South Georgia and I get it. If you want to win you have to buy the better players. It’s just funny now that everyone can use the bagmen that SEC fans are screaming that the sport need la to be burned down and start over. UGA benefited for years by buying players and beating us. We all knew it wasn’t a fair game. It’s getting fairer though.

You were found to have been cheating during your only success the last 20 years and sanctioned by the NCAA.

You hired turds for coaches, get few fans to games, refuse to invest in modern facilities, that’s why you suck.

Tech's problem is that their bagmen don't have enough cash in their bags.
