The Rest of the SEC is Officially on Notice:

Over the last few years, LSU fans have become spoiled, and unfortunately, arrogant about their football team. We've criticized our head coach for talking goofy, making seemingly silly decisions, and eating grass and such. Some even began believing that the university was too good for him.

Once again, Michigan came courting. Once again, everyone, including the ESPN talking heads, announced that Miles was bolting for his dream job. During this time, many LSU fans that were pining for a change began to take inventory. A 61-17 record? That's almost an 80% clip. A BCS National Championship? 5-1 in bowl games?

Who in the hell can we get that can better those numbers? Bo F-in Pelini? Tubberville?

Just as panic was starting to set in, Miles shocks the world and announces once again, he is an LSU Tiger, and he's going nowhere.

To the rest of the SEC, I say beware. Yeah, we've laughed at your jokes about Miles, how he's stupid, hard to understand, can't manage the clock, and has a retarded cap. But know this. Something happened today. For the first time ever, LSU fans everywhere are accepting, "he's one of us". He chose us, not because of money, but because he's one of us.
