Can someone ban this sack of shite? He's a Bammer that's been kicked off his own board. That has to be hard to do.

Auburn should go get Lowell Narcisse from MCGCC. He's nowhere near Stidham's talent, but he's a much better fit for a Gus Malzahn offense.

The whole scheme is predicted on having a running QB.

Just find some woman to accuse him of sexual harassment 36 years ago. The liberal mob will attack him relentlessly and Auburn can then get rid of him.

It's unfortunate that there is so much truth to this statement.

And no program is willing to spend $32 million on a coach and deal with the fallout with the press and peer institutions.

It's $15MM up front, of which Auburn has ready to go. The rest is paid out over several years and if he gets another job, that school pays some of it.

Yes, the contract is new, but Gus isnt. He's been at Auburn nearly 9 years total. Not like we're firing a first year newbie.

Gus is the new Kirk Ferentz, he is just at a better program than Iowa

Every time he is on the verge of being shitcanned he pulls a great season out of his arse and gets an extension

It will be reported as $32 million and it would be a huge embarrassment for the university. Not happening.

That is why every normal program would fire the AD this year and the coach next year.

Welcome to being a normal program now that Arky forced it on you.

That is why Saban threw the Iron Bowl last year. Had he wanted to win, he would have put Tua in.

The problem is Alabama. Those frickers lost to us last season and our stupid athletic department gave Gus 49 million. He’s been the same guy since he got there. Auburn was too stupid to see that.

That part is true - I can't believe your money people swallowed that hook so fast and let Arkansas spook the hell out of them.

Do you not remember 2012? We fired our national championship winning coach after he shite the bed. Auburn has shown it's not afraid to cut ties when it feels the revenue pinch.

I don't get the embarrassing angle. If a school has that type of capital at its disposal, that's rather impressive, despite the poor business decision.

I'm partially in agreement with you--- that $32 million is a lot of money. But from several reputable posters on a few different sites, they say the money is available. I've read everything from a very rich board member to an athletic bond fund worth several million. Also, he's not being paid in a lump sum, it'd be paid out over several years. 5-7 they say he's gone. I'll believe it when I see it.
