That team with a Big 10 reject at QB and lost to a middle of the pack Big 10 team.

Well, the easy answer is Georgia but I think most reasonable people know they aren't any good.

LSU because their hope for the season depends on a Purdue transfer at QB. But then again Harris was the 3rd best QB in the SEC so maybe this Purdue transfer is the best .

Honestly Alabama

Right now they are coasting on reputation and beating the USC team I have ever seen in my lifetime. their o line is not good, their qb over throws wide open recovers by 10 yards and there secondary is the worst I've ever seen it under saban. They beat a team that's going to finish 6th or 7th in the west by 5 points

Kelly threw for 421 fricking yards. Jesus Sabah crist. Lol he almost threw for 3x more yards than hurts. They will lose to Arkansas, a and m and can see them easily paint the iron bowl with All the emotion in that game

LSU

They lost to a Wisconsin team that struggled with Georgia State this weekend. LSU also almost blew the game last week against MSU.

A fan of team that embarrassed the SEC game 1 starts this?

Aggies are coming to Jerryworld to drink beer and kick arse. We just ran out of beer.

So if we beat Arkansas, then what?

#17 Arkansas, #16 UCLA, Auburn were all over rated and suck, so Aggie sucks?

At what point does the Aggies get credit? If they beat Arky, USCe, and then Tennessee I suppose, but probably not around here.

Alabama is my pretender. Look for Tennessee and Arkansas to beat Alabama this year and they could be upset by LSU in Baton Rouge.

LSU. Etling is fool's gold.

Actually.. The last time LSU had a QB complete more than 15 passes with a completion percentage of over 63 percent was Mett in 2013 (and even He only did it once).
While I can see hesitation based on the small sample size, Etling did something in his first SEC game that hasn't been done in 2+ years (and he looked like an actual QB while doing it).

Ranking the "pretender status" of the remaining unbeaten.. I have:
1. Georgia.
2. Florida.
3. Alabama.
4. Tennessee.
5. Texas A&M
I feel like A&M is pretty damn good this year.

Y'all played the backup. The starter was suspended for getting a DUI and has been back for the last two games. You're welcome for the info on your football team

FWIW I think A&M is a good team, and I don't think they're a pretender in the sense that they haven't played anyone or are just flat overrated. But they will falter, of course, which makes them a pretender of sorts.

Alabama is only a "pretender" if you are comparing it to the "Bama is the best in the universe" reaction after the USC game. Overreacting in the opposite direction after the Ole Miss game is just as silly.

Alabama is a very good team with weaknesses to improve. Surviving the first three games was the key going into the season. Now the schedule is perfect for this team - a cupcake this weekend, followed by Kentucky, then gradually playing a tougher opponent each week until the off weak and then LSU.

Look for Bama to get better and better as the OL gels and the secondary gets experience in the nickel and dime DB's. Alabama could lose a game or two, but things are set up for a championship run if they work hard and focus on improving.
