I know I know. When you start to think you’re relevant, you post on a message board and are just convinced that the powers-that-be will read what you have to say and think, “shite, why didn’t we think of that?”
The decision makers will follow the money, just as they always have. That’s why it’s so funny when the whorns say
No, we didn’t. University presidents and ADs did so that ESPN can line their pocketbooks.
Everyone west of the Sabine are outsiders and always will be. Don’t forget your place. Don’t worry, we will remind you.

So UF, UGA, USC and Kentucky don't have to do any scheduling since their one OOC game will be their instate rival? Not sure if they will like that or not.

Big SEC schools aren't going to give up their Week 10 pseudo bye weeks against The Citadel, Furman, etc.

We just played a 10 game SEC schedule and BAMA was 10-0 and a national title.
LSU finished 5-5 in the SEC and was a shoe toss from 4-6. The tigers want no part of big boy football. They were humiliated and there aren't enough asterisks in the world to cover over those transgressions.

Just what the hell does UTjr know about equal partnerships. The last time you operated with a equal partnership santa Anna was besieging the Alamo

Seems like a reasonable solution. Our rivalry with GT is much of a rivalry since we have dominated them so I have no problem dropping that to play a different outside the SEC P5 opponent.
The main teams who would be hurt by this would be the less conference teams who are paid big bucks to come to your stadium and take an arse whoopin'.

Now stay with me … the ONLY thing we have to drop to achieve this are the annual LSU games against Alabama, Auburn, and Florida
frick LSU I guess.

This allows you to play EVERY SEC team home and away in a 4 year window
Don't really know why that is important as long as each team plays each other in a 3-4 year period.
The perfect schedule is two divisions, 10 conference games, every team plays each other in a 3 year period, all major rivalry games are played, each team plays at least one power 5 nonconference game.

You're an idiot! We'd love it!..who's got more depth for an 11 game SEC schedule than Alabama? Too many folks around here talk out of their asses.

I don't believe the Schools will go for that 10 game deal due to the lesser teams will have no chance at getting to 6 wins for a bowl game. 9 is enough. You still have some out of conference rival games such as FSU/UF and UGA/GT that will have to continue. You have to give everybody some consideration.
I forgot USCe vs Clemson. It is my hope that every team in the conference has a winning record and goes to a bowl.

It's good to want that, but it is mathematically impossible without the entire league being totally mediocre.

I get how you feel but that schedule is incredibly compelling television
