The Perfect Scheduling Solution

Keep Divisions. Move to 11 game conference schedule + 1 OOC P5. OU & TX join West. Missouri moves West. Alabama and Auburn move East.
7 games against your division members.
4 games against the other division.
1 game against P5 OOC. (1st or last week only)
This allows you to play EVERY SEC team home and away in a 4 year window AND for teams with important conference and OOC rivals to keep them
————————————————————
For scheduling and balance purposes have the divisions split into 2 groups each based on projected / historic strength. (Could change over time based on results if that’s what is desired)
Example:
East A - Alabama, Auburn, UGA, UF
East B - Tenn, Vandy, UK, SC.
West A - Texas, A&M, OU, LSU
West B - Mizzou, MSST, Ark, OM
Each year 2 of your 4 cross division games would come from the cross group A and the other 2 games from cross group B.
————————————————————
Now stay with me … the ONLY thing we have to drop to achieve this are the annual LSU games against Alabama, Auburn, and Florida
But, LSU “doesn’t have a rival” and with the group set up they would be guaranteed match ups against either two of those rival teams each year, or one of those teams + Georgia, which I think they’ll be happy with. Plus TigerRant seems to think this version of the West would be an easier path.
————————————————————
If you’re a Western team you would play:
-7 games against your Western division opponents.
-2 games against either Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, or Florida.
-2 games against either Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, or South Carolina.
-1 game with an out of conference P5 opponent
If you’re an Eastern team you would play:
-7 games against your Eastern division opponents.
-2 games against either Texas, A&M, LSU, or Oklahoma
-2 games against either Mississippi, Mizzou, Arkansas, or Mississippi State
-1 game with an out of conference P5 opponent
————————————————————
This should be Rivalry Week Schedule.
Conference Matchups:
Alabama vs Auburn
Texas vs A&M
Ole Miss vs Mississippi State
Tennessee vs Vanderbilt
LSU vs Arkansas
OOC Matchups:
Georgia vs Georgia Tech
Florida vs FSU
Oklahoma vs OKST
Kentucky vs Louisville
South Carolina vs Clemson
Missouri vs Kansas
(If KU & OKST don’t agree, then make it Oklahoma vs Mizzou)
————————————————————
Everyone’s happy, rivalries are intact, you play so many amazing matchups, less cupcake games, and more frequent rotation of opponents and venues. Also reduces the headache of determining championship game teams from 4 pods.
We’re counting on you, LSU.

Np. We know we don’t have a true rival and don’t need to force one. Just wanna beat all y’all.
But an 11-game conference schedule? I guess it’s the way we’re headed with all this “NFL Lite” talk, but damn that’s gonna be brutal on the bodies of a lot of these kids

Mickey wants compelling games streaming every weekend of the season.
The mouse gets what the mouse wants.

Image doesn’t work but if it’s anything other than the South Park Mickey Mouse beating the shite out of the Jonas Brothers, then I’m disappointed

Looks Good. You can also do it this way with 10 games.
Play your Pod: 3
Play your Rotating B Group: 4
Play 2 from Same Letter Pod: 2
Permanent Game: 1
Alabama Schedule - Year 1
East A Pod: Auburn, Florida, Georgia
East B Pod: Tenn, Vandy, SC, Kentucky
WestA Pod: Texas, LSU
Permanent: Miss State (since Tenn already on schedule)
Alabama Schedule - Year 2
East A Pod: Auburn, Florida, Georgia
WestB Pod: Miss State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri
WestA Pod: Oklahoma, A&M
Permanent: Tennessee (since MS already on schedule)

There are more than enough votes to overule them as long as LSU and others get behind us.

??? What I posted has them both in the East playing every year

frick that game. It's not even a real rivalry anymore. It's nothing but elder abuse at this point.

You are right.. sorry it is late. I showed how you could also do it above in 10 games.
