The only way to keep Bama out of the playoff is for LSU to lose a close one to Georgia...

And by close, I mean a game winning FG as time expires with a 24-21 score. Final poll will stand at:

1 - Ohio State
2 - Clemson
3 - Georgia
4 - LSU (ranked at 4 because they beat Bama head-to-head)
5 - Bama

Georgia should have two losses for losing to South Carolina.

As much as you think they do because Bama is at 5, the rankings the committee just released do not support your thesis.

What if LSU drops one to Ole Miss or A&M and then loses to Georgia in the SEC Championship game? Would they put Bama in over LSU?

Two downvotes but it's true that not all losses are created equal. Losing at home to South Carolina that will finish 4-8? Georgia shouldn't get in just because they win the shitty arse East and might potentially lose a close conference championship game.

Either way when LSU beats that arse in the SECCG they'll be an afterthought.

Suppose we just bench Burrow because he is "hurt" then we lose a close one. Everyone know we are in the top 4 with Burrow - so we are in! You are not judged by the team you field but the team you could field.

If any P5 team goes into their conference championship game and loses (Minnesota, LSU, Baylor, OSU) then Bama is out.

OP, did you conveniently forget about the other undefeated/1-loss teams that are still in play?

I say best chance for LSU to lose to a team is Texas A&M!

If Georgia beat Auburn and LSU they are in.

If the UGA-LSU score is 42-7, it will be

1) OSU
2) Clemson
3) UGA
4) Oregon
5) LSU
6) Auburn/Bama winner
