Beat Alabama. Beat enough teams to win the west. Beat the bowl opponent.

Who will he be lobbing the ball to this year?
Well he returns 3 of his top 5 targets from last year, for starters.

Nah dude, Bama can't lose, etc. LSU lucky to win 4 in conference.

Sure.
That #1 target from last year is Nabers, the best returning receiver in the SEC.
The #3 target from 2022 is true sophomore Mason Taylor, who just had one of the best seasons as a TE in LSU history.
The #5 target from 2022 is in his 2nd year at LSU and led UL-Lafayette in TD's in 2021.
But sure, minimize that returning production if it makes you feel better.

Auburn has more talent than all but 3 west teams. Finally have better coaching. And we host both MS schools… not to mention we host Bama who never wins in Auburn if the AU team is remotely decent.

Luckily we don't have to worry about that very often.

1. LSU (Kelly is legit)
2. Bama (Miss playoffs again)
3. Arkansas (Jefferson stays healthy)
4. Auburn (Freeze outperforms)
5. Ole Miss (HC rumors derail season again around week 8)
6. A&M (Petrino/Fisher implode)
7. State (6 wins but good season, the schedule makers giving them @ SC, @ Arky, @A&M, @ Auburn and a spicy Kentucky for HC is a tough tough schedule).
