I have no idea who they would choose... I feel like we would get jipped, personally. I would like to think they would choose Arkansas because fans would be really excited to go to a BCS bowl for the first time ever but I don't know.

A Birmingham Bowl matchup with Arkansas and Syracuse would be awesome.

Uh huh. Arkansas has an exciting offense, and LSU has a half-retard who eats grass. Both make for great television. Looks like the Sugar bowl committee is gonna have a tough decision on their hands.

Riiight. That's why CBS, which could have picked any SEC game it wanted, decided to televise the game between no.21 Miss. St. and no.13 Arkansas this week. Oh wait, LSU has a home game against unranked Ole Miss.

Well, right now LSU is in sole posession of 2nd place in the west, while Ar-KAN-sas is in 4th place and could be in 5th after this Saturday night. I doubt the Sugar Bowl is interested in the 5th place team in the SEC West.

WTF?

If Arkansas and Auburn win out, Arkansas is 2nd and LSU 3rd.

arse.

Memo to Hog camp; You better not sleep on MSU. Post Script: Mallett won't be a happy camper after the LSU game IMO.

Agreed, but that's a big IF. LSU wins out and plays in BCS bowl imo.

He's coming up with a possible scenario is all. Don't think the team is sleeping on MSU.

Hope your's isn't sleeping on Ole Miss.

Name one "big" win your exciting offense has this year..That's right, Arkansas hasn't won shite worth talking about all year. Worst of all, you're counting on hanging your hat on a victory that won't happen against a "half-retard who eats grass" to propel you into the Sugar Bowl?

LSU gets in because they will beat you straight up.

LSU gets in because they're better than you....despite the 9-1 "half-retard who eats grass"

If

bama and ark win out
Aub loses to south car

thats 4 2 loss sec west teams. South car would get the sugar but bama would likely be the highest ranked sec team come bowl time, what kind of bowls do you think each team would get?

If LSU loses the game at Arkansas, I would expect the Sugar to take Arkansas and LSU to the Cotton Bowl.

No kidding. I was just talking to a buddy about this the other day. We're having easily our second best season since '98 and yet could still finish 4th/5th in the division and get a mid level bowl. However, we won the West twice in that time with 8-4 (5-3) records.

if the records are tied and ya'll beat us, ya'll deserve the sugar. however, i'm not ready to award you the victory yet and neither is the LSU team. i think we're gonna beat ya'll so this post is not only moot it's a waste of time.

You've beaten South Carolina and Texas A&M.....

We've beaten Bama, UF, MSU, WVU, UNC and a 7 point loss to AU.

Nice try though

the sugar bowl would take a team 55 miles away that would pack the stands that is a big name and a proven winner.

packing the stands isn't as important as filling the hotel rooms...I'm sure the Sugar would rather have Bama or Auburn over LSU for this reason.
