Well, beating Bama usually means an SEC Championship and a chance at a National Championship for LSU. If Bama is LSU's Super Bowl, then South Carolina is Clemson's Super Bowl.

Bad choice of words. Admiration would be a good word. Most fans I know admire what Bama has accomplished. Like O said, we have to beat bama to get the program to where we want it. We did that this year, but that is only 1 year. Most fans still think that Bama is the premier program and that we are getting closer. 1 game does not make a dynasty, but it sure gives us loyal LSU fans something to cheer about and hope that we are getting closer to that very elite status. I can't wait to read post by other schools about how good we are instead of trying to point out something you think is being obsessed. Enjoy your season and whatever bowl you are going to because there is always next year.
