It’s not Aggie glasses. It’s based on how the committee has done it from 20 years. NC State or Miami will get it over A&M, not Ole Miss.

So you trail them at top 25, top 50, top 100 and thought this cherry pick would make a difference?

Series record

OM 4-0

Anyone not looking through maroon glasses does not see the Aggs as a lock over OM.

I never claimed to be certain if either will host or not, the ridicules part is thinking that A&M stands out in comparison.

FYI if the take down Vandy that RPI advantage is going to get razor thin very quickly

I understand you want to stick up for big bro, but Ole Miss is not getting a host over A&M unless the committee does something never done before.

Ole Miss has a worse record vs an easier schedule. RPI reflects that. The end.

we put A&M in ahead today because that’s what we think the committee will do. The RPI gap is pretty significant.

Interesting case battle between Ole Miss, A&M, and Miami. Ole Miss has the head to head over A&M but A&M probably has the overall better resume. Currently D1 has A&M as the 16 against UCLA. I personally feel like the committee will just avoid that battle and pick Miami.

What I think will kill A&M is the losing record vs Q1

If ole miss wins today (big if) it will likely put their RPI around 19 which continues to weaken A&M’s case. The non conference losses are going to haunt ole miss

Neither Ole Miss or A&M is getting a host spot. Cannot have too many SEC hosts. It’s not right, but it is what is going to happen

Agreed, unless Ole Miss wins today as a maybe. I think they just give it to Miami.,

7. Georgia Tech
8. Texas Tech

11. Stanford
12. WVU

14. Oregon State
15. Noth Carolina
16. NC State

i'm see both D1 and baseballAmerica have LSU and Miss. State paired up in a Super if both advance.

They really don't want more than 2-3 SEC Teams in Omaha

I think the committee can just ignore the Miami, A&M, Ole Miss battle and go with both NC and NC State

Just because if the way it’s set up. We will 100% be between 12 and 14 and anywhere in that region we would be paired with an SEC team

Yup, according to WN, an Ole Miss win today would place them around 17-19. A loss, and they are squarely locked into that 22 spot, pending indirect games impacting them and Creighton.

One interesting snowball scenario: If UNC loses and FAU loses, Miami takes an RPI hit that could move them below the threshold that would allow Ole Miss to pass them with a win... which would put Ole Miss at 17.

17 RPI and SEC Tournament champions could very likely lock them in as a host over A&M.

Again, this is under the belief that today’s games matter. Some don’t believe that they do.

1.UCLA, 2.Vandy, 3.Miss State, 4.Georgia, 5.Arkansas

Those are probably set in stone.

Not counting today, Georgia Tech has 19 Q1 wins, 12-7 vs RPI 25, and a SOS of 14. They should be locked into 6.

7 through 10 are up in the air between Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Louisville, and Stanford. I think Oklahoma State will be #7 if they beat TCU and West Virginia today. Stanford has the worst resume of the four, but the committee always views west coast teams differently.

2-1 against Texas Tech this week has solidified West Virginia as a host, and they could be #11, depending on how the committee places East Carolina. LSU should also place between 11-13. They have to resume, and if they werent in the SEC, they'd be there easily.

14-16, Oregon State has a spot in there. 1-2 vs USC this weekend has dropped them. I think North Carolina has solidified a host spot and they are 3-1 vs Miami this year. Im thinking the last spot is Miami's. They would be the only host in Florida, and they arent in the SEC, so A&M and Ole Miss are the near misses.

1.UCLA vs 16.Miami
2.Vanderbilt vs 15.Oregon State
3.Mississippi State vs 14.North Carolina
4.Georgia vs 13.East Carolina
5.Arkansas vs 12.LSU
6.Georgia Tech vs 11.West Virginia
7.Oklahoma State vs 10.Stanford
8.Louisville vs 9.Texas Tech
