Texas has a problem however.
I think the Texas AD (Del Conte) was hand-in-hand with Sark when it comes to the whole Arch Manning recruitment and financial appropriation.
So how does Sark get the blame? His boss was neck-deep in it too.
In fact... what if CDC forced Arch on Sark? Just for Hollywood bling-bling value?

too football stupid to just sit back and observe that Texas just plain sucks all around?
We all already knew that. We all have been telling you that.
You were the one talking crap all season long. You're the one who's football stupid.
Welcome to the SEC!

If Peyton were the head coach at Texas he would've benched him already, nephew or not.

Arch doesn’t need to be benched. That was a total team loss. The entire team was exposed as frauds. Look at the stats, the beating was much worse than the score. Arch is the only one who kept it close. The so called “elite” Texas defense was torched for 457 yards. Defensive line, linebacker and secondary were all outplayed and out coached. The offensive line was horrific! Arch was sacked 6 times. The Texas running game was putrid. Really? The University of Texas only gained 50 yards all day? This was a team disaster of a performance against a 1-3 team. Only Penn State was a bigger embarrassment in the country yesterday. Sark and the DC need to be benched, not Arch.

The Mannings have been realistic.

You must be self employed.
I can assure you at every job I ever had where there was an issue, the boss had no problem assigning the blame and it was never a boss's fault.

The Mannings have stayed well clear of this. This is driven by Texas BMDs and the Media. Would not surprise me if they're quietly telling Arch to think about a different environment.
Where the Mannings failed was not realizing that sitting on the bench for 2 years at Texas would NOT provide the development that Arch needed after an underwhelming high school experience. The stagnation of Quinn Ewers should have been a warning.

Gotta love the revisionist history on this is all Sark’s fault for buying into Arch
Literally every top five Team rolled out the red carpet for him
It was down to UGA, Bama, Tenn and Texas and every fan base would have celebrated if they got him
Some 5 stars just don’t work out. I’m not saying he will be great, but yesterday was still his 7th ever start and he was on his arse the whole game
Would not surprise me one bit if he turns into a good quarterback next year wherever he plays

Arch, was the best player on UT's offense against UF, but they're going to bench him

Who cares what the family thinks. Bench his arse for #18

And Flood. And Banks.

Texas has tons of issues. Can’t tackle, can’t block, can’t run.
Arch does look like Jackson Arnold in holding the ball too long

So Texas would rather boost their “Hollywood bling-bling value” over playing whoever it takes to win games? Got it.

You are right of course. Texas has zero running game because the Oline appears to be complete arse.
Very difficult to open the running game up through passing game. Running game can usually open up the passing game but it rarely works the other way.

No, I was shouting my mouth off 15 months ago about how Texas would win the SEC in its first year.
Dig it up. Circa July 2024 posts

Arch is a head scratcher to watch. He will run into a sack and hold the ball forever and miss wide open throws and then he will drop a NFL type throw 40 yards down the field the next play.

CFB is big business. The goal is to make money. If winning championships meant more money, Texas might be inclined to focus on winning. There’s really no reason to change what works. We’re already ranked number 1 in what really matters.
