"Some" did make bowls.Went to 8 total between them and we still have more bowl wins than Texas.

That is an incredibly impressive stat… regardless of the state of the program on any given year, to have never lost by more than 7 in a bowl game over a 42 year span is mind-blowing.

Only one of Donnan's teams didn't make a bowl. He was 4-0 in bowl games.

That is a wild stat, unfortunately I'm old enough to remember that game against Pitt and Dorsett. Afterwards Georgia QB Ray Goff said something to the effect of he never wanted to see the Louisiana Superdome again for as long as he lived.
