the fan bases of Ole Miss and LSU are expecting their teams to be in contention for a conference title and expect a playoff birth next year.

Kelly needs to add some major additions in the portal at DT and CB for that to even be a possibility next year.

Speaking of which, did you see where Pio slipped up and got his alters mixed up yesterday? He posted as an Alabama football fan from his Arkansas basketball fan account. It was pretty funny. It was almost as awkward as him posing as a Kansas fan. Wouldn’t you agree?

Don’t get married during football season and don’t have babies then. You’ll be stuck at dinners and parties on Saturdays missing the games.

My poor kid was born on September 15th and I watched the LSU/Auburn game in the recovery room. She's had to deal with have her bday scheduled around LSU football for 23 years.

Finally an honest LSU fan. Not many of them around.

Absolutely right. The pressure is now on Ole Miss and LSU. You both should be able to win against a Bama who according to you doesn't have a chance to win it all as long as DeBoer is there.

I agree with this. I think Kiffin is pretty safe regardless of what happens. Kelly better make the playoffs this year or he won’t be able to sit down.
Kelly's seat is not hot and won't be hot; you seriously have no idea what you are talking about

Actually, Ole Miss doesn't have a prayer at beating Bammer next year... We don't play them.

How short will the leash be for Kelly and Kiffin if they aren’t in the top two or three in the SEC and fail to make the playoffs?

This is stupid.

Lane doesn't need to win the conference or make the CFP to keep his job. Ole Miss is not Bama.

If he doesn’t make the playoffs next year there are going to be a lot of dissatisfied fans. There will be a lot questioning if he is the right guy. There will be a lot of fans saying LSU could and should do better. Whether that is a hot seat or not is semantics. If he doesn’t make the playoffs next year, then 2025 will be do or die for him.

I agree his seat is not hot now. But I disagree that it won’t be hot if he misses the playoffs.

If Fla struggles this year either Kiffin or Drink will be doing the gator chomp in Gainesville in 2025.

Mark Stoops has had plenty of offers but never left Kentucky. There are not many coaches that resist the call of the traditional powers but some do.

That said I think Drink would do well at Florida. He would do well at his home state of Arkansas. He can do well at Missouri to. It is all up to him.

Since Kiffin has not moved yet maybe he plans to stay where he is. He has been at Southern Cal and Alabama. Maybe he likes things at Ole Miss better?

LOL, this guy right here.

Back to back ten win seasons and you think he’s on the hot seat?

If anything, he’s ahead of schedule considering the mess he inherited.
