No one is overtaking Kentucky in our lifetimes. They were SEC basketball for many decades and are still formidable.
I'm pretty familiar with AU basketball, but have no ide who this is:
Mamadi Diakite (760),
Was that supposed to be Mamadou N'Diaye?
We are having a good run thanks to Bruce Pearl. I just hope it sticks this time and we can continue to be relevant after Pearl retires. It's great that the conference had 14 in the NCAA T this year.

Not sure what your solution is - do you want him to somehow quantify the difference in conference strength for every year, or do you want him to just not give any points for non-SEC conference titles?

That would be because he played for UVA a few years ago lol

No doubt. Both have a great history in a tier behind Kentucky. At the end of the day, it's hard to say which is better..
It's similar to Texas and LSU in baseball.
Neither would trade with the other..

The solution is simple. Any CBB fan worth a shite knows that the NCAA tourney is what matters.

If you win the title this year you have a fair claim
I think the problem for Florida right now is such a huge percentage of your success came from one coach, and one team really (over 2 years). Whereas we've seen pretty good success under several different coaches/eras

Always felt success under different coaches was a great measure for the program.
But titles matter and why the UF v Ark discussion is difficult at best. I change my mind every time this comes up.

Yeah, I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy Arkansas basketball since the 70s so I’ve been fortunate. We had a chance to win back to back national championships but fell short in the championship game the second time. No shame in that.

Arky/UF are basically equal but certain posters on here think Arky is closer to UK than us.

I haven’t seen that.
Although when we came into the sec we were going toe to toe with Pitino’s teams while both were playing for nattys, your run had tubby at Kentucky and Heath at Arkansas. A little less resistance for you…

I would’ve wondered who joined the conference lately if we weren’t last. Before we built the Pavilion we used to have rainouts.
