Carter makes a 4 and a 3 point play with less than 30 seconds left.
Stealing a win on the road.
Why is Oklahoma crowd not at capacity for a Saturday night game?

Honestly, that was pretty much the only winnable game on paper. Every OU fan saw this schedule and knew post non-con, the record is on par. It’s so stupid. Great win for LSU along with the other 8 L’s OU has had but dam. I really don’t know what they can do as a basketball program. They don’t recruit as well as the rest of the conference and the results this season prove that. I wasn’t surprised by the graping by Auburn, Bama and Tennessee. I thought mizzou would be a potential close one but there’s no way they get another W on this schedule. How in the holy hell did OU beat Vandy.

OU hasn't ever had capacity crowds ever unless they have an elite team. And even then it would only be full for the big games.
Even in our best years a game like this (against a conference cellar dweller) wouldn't draw a full crowd.
But now, with the Thunder in town, the fact that Porter Moser can't get into the tournament, and the fact that people would rather watch OU on TV at home... nobody attends the games at all.
Kentucky will come in here pretty soon and it will be half full for that game unless Kentucky brings a bunch of people down.

Nobody around here gives a shite about college basketball man. Were there 3000 people there? I'd be surprised. Lucky to get 1000 for the rest of the year probably. But the Thunder will sell out vs the worst teams in the NBA.

I remember going to games when I was a student at Auburn many years again Beard Eaves.
Kentucky and Alabama were the only sellouts.
We were historically one of the three worst teams in the 10 team SEC.
Now ticket prices are nuts for SRO.
Oklahoma and LSU have some good teams historically.
I just figured on a Saturday at a big university, a game would draw a good crowd.

Another point. Have you been to Lloyd Noble? It's a shite hole. There are HS gyms here in OK I'd rather watch a game at.

It really isn’t that hard sometimes, is it?
I wouldn’t go to a SC game for free right now. Time is money.

Oklahoma is a mid major program that only had football success because oil money bought players that couldn’t get into Texas and subsidized an advanced steroid program in an era when it was easier to keep criminal players out of the news.

Oklahoma and LSU have some good teams historically

Got some work to do. They’re on the bad side of the bubble right now.
@Florida

Kentucky
@Ole Miss

@Texas
Think they gotta find at least 3 wins in there to have a realistic shot at the dance.

Kelvin Sampson taking shots at Porter ooff
Oklahoma basketball coach Porter Moser faces intense scrutiny after the Sooners suffered their fourth-straight loss, and dropped to 3-9 in SEC play with an 82-79 defeat at home to LSU. Earlier in the day, Houston head coach Kelvin Sampson took a veiled shot at Moser, claiming Cougars point guard Milos Uzan, an Oklahoma transfer, wasn't coached hard enough at his previous stop.
"Milos is more skilled than any guard we've had coming in," Sampson told reporters. "What Milos didn't have was a natural competitive nature. And I think that's why the good Lord led him to me. He needed somebody that wasn't afraid to coach him, to coach him hard."
Uzan remains the highest-rated prospect to commit to Oklahoma in the Moser era. He spent two seasons with the Sooners and averaged 9.0 points and 4.4 assists and shot 39.2% from the field and 29.6% from the three-point line as a sophomore last season. Milos' numbers have jumped in his first season with Houston. He's averaging career-highs with 10.4 points and 4.9 assists while shooting a much-improved 45.5% from the field and 39.8% from the three-point line. Houston is 21-4 and ranked No. 6, with Milos leading the point.
