The Final Golding Vs. Kiffin Debate: Does Kiffin beat Georgia in the CFP last year?

Lots has been said about Kiffin and Golding this offseason, both good and bad.
But who’s really the better coach?
Golding has 2 CFP wins. Kiffin has zero.
Would Kiffin had beaten Georgia in the CFP last year? I’d say no, but opinions will probably vary on that.
Although the Ole Miss vs. LSU happens this year, it’s not really an apples to apples comparison since LSU has substantially more talent. They should win… but if Golding wins, I think the debate is over anyway.
So we have the apples to apples comparison on how they did as coach of Ole Miss last year.
Golding is a better coach (and already better CFP record) than Kiffin as of right now, in my opinion.

No. Kiffin wouldn’t have kicked the field goals like Pete decided to when we had 4th and short a few times on Georgia’s side of the field.

Ole Miss didn't kick any field goals on 4th and short, all of their field goals were at least 4th and 5 or further.
Pete went for it on two 4th and shorts, just as Kiffin has been apt to do.
I don't think the Ole Miss playoff journey looks much different with/without Kiffin.

Why Kiffin probably wins too
Kiffin had already demonstrated that his offense could hurt Georgia. In the regular-season matchup in Athens, Ole Miss led 35–26 after three quarters before Georgia scored the final 17 points to win 43–35. Ole Miss therefore was not far from winning the more difficult road version of the matchup.
Also, the playoff offense was still largely Kiffin’s offense. Charlie Weis Jr. remained for the playoff and continued calling plays, while Trinidad Chambliss and the rest of the roster had been assembled and developed under Kiffin. Against Georgia, Chambliss threw for 362 yards, Ole Miss allowed no sacks, and the offense scored 39 points.
Had Kiffin stayed, Ole Miss presumably would have had:
Kiffin overseeing the offense and major game decisions.
Weis calling plays.
Golding continuing to run the defense.
The benefit of having already played Georgia once.
A neutral-site game instead of playing in Athens.
That combination probably still wins.
But Golding did something Kiffin’s team had not done
In Athens, Georgia’s offense scored 43 points and never punted. In the CFP rematch, Golding’s defense forced Georgia into 3-of-13 on third down, produced nine tackles for loss, contained Gunner Stockton as a runner and allowed only 27 offensive points because one Georgia touchdown came from its defense.
Ole Miss also trailed 21–12 at halftime and 24–19 entering the fourth quarter. Georgia had previously won 53 consecutive games when leading at halftime and 75 straight when leading after three quarters, yet Golding kept the team composed and Ole Miss scored 20 in the fourth to win 39–34.
That is not merely Golding “riding Kiffin’s team.” His defensive adjustments and leadership materially affected the result.
My verdict
Does Kiffin likely beat Georgia? Yes.
But the fairest interpretation is:
Kiffin built the team capable of winning.
Weis kept the offense operating at a Kiffin-level standard.
Golding made the defensive adjustments and led the comeback that actually finished the job.
So I would not use the Georgia win as proof that Golding is a better head coach than Kiffin. I would use it as proof that Golding was much more than a placeholder. Kiffin probably wins the game—but Golding unquestionably earned that particular victory.

Who was the OC against Georgia? Who assembled the entire coaching staff that beat Georgia?
