The problem here is there are a series of decisions to be made, and BK was the first one. I agree - for whatever reason, BK didn’t work at LSU.
If we are being honest, BK looked like a great hire at the time. So, whoever you get is not guaranteed success. Let’s see who you get and how that pans out.

True. He just didn’t “get it”. But BK just wasn’t good enough at coaching either. Coaching in the SEC is nothing like coaching at ND.

I haven’t seen much anger (fear, as you put it). Have you considered that maybe Brian Kelly was just very unlikable, so watching the LSU fan base have to defend him for the past few years made his firing amusing for the rest of us?

???? Nobody is afraid of LSU. What is “palpable” is the laughter of the SEC and the fear and the dawning realization of the LSU fanbase that you have become mediocre and irrelevant.
