I don't know if there is anything we can do to them on Thursday that is worse than what the NCAA will do to them the next week.

Accurate. Ideally one who could do both well. I like the guys we have on the def. staff (McGriff, Peveto, Roach) however the play on the field has been extremely bad. Undersized DL, subpar injured lbs, and a young secondary with questionable safeties. It was a match made for disaster this year.

* I think it will probably be a route on Thanksgiving. There is no reason for it to be a competitive game. If it doesn't get put to bed in the first half then it might be interesting.

Honestly Luke is the best option, unfortunatly for the rebs all the viable options will likely be hired prior to the penalties coming out, the new early signing period almost dictates it.

For those of you wanting new coaches, if they are still there one week from today you are most likely stuck with them, schools are going to move quickly once the dominoes start to fall.

If Taa'mu can't go whose playing QB for Ole Miss? If Taa'mu can't play AJ Brown is gonna get one of those mystery hammies and sit out as well. Book it.

EGG BOWL back on Thanksgiving night?!?!?!?!? YES! I always enjoyed that back in the 90s. As I don't watch the NFL anymore, it will be nice to have some football on Turkey day after all.

Serious question.... when was the last time the team that was "supposed to win" this game, actually won this game?

according to whom? Vegas? Message boards?

The better, healthier team usually wins

Not really. Don’t get me wrong, MSU should win the game easily, but the last few years the team that was supposed to win didn’t.

Again, supposed to win by what measurement?

No MSU fan was surprised at last years win. State was better by the end of the season.

The last real upset may have been Freeze's first year? I could concede the Bo Wallacing game as an upset , since State started a true freshman 3rd string QB

I just don't think the Rebels have enough talent on the defensive side of the ball to corral Fitz and co. We will hopefully put up some points, dependent on which version of Ta'amu/our offensive line shows up.

It has also been rumored around Ole Miss 247 that Ta'amu may not even be playing - he took a hit to the head last week against A&M (defender was thrown out for targeting), and Ta'amu reportedly "felt dizzy" after coming off of the field.

Early prediction - 45-21 State

Ahh! .. that win will go away when NCAA 'vacates' all 2013 - 2016 wins.
