I don't disagree with that 1 aspect but looking around the country, no team is dominating and all of them have chinks in the armor. Honestly, DeBoer has done better than I thought he would overall.

your argument would just as well apply to Drinkwitz though, which further proves my point

A big key is can Leavitt take advantage of Bama's hyper aggressive defensive tendencies, while not turning the ball over.

What's the fans saying on the ground there about DeBoer?

I've met some very reasonable bama fans while on work trips there and they all say the same... "not yet 100% behind him and not sure on some of his decisions".

Now they rest of the bama fans I know are nothing more than bandwagon fans that were lured over after Saban started winning.... and these fans all live inside the state of LA .

DeBoer has beaten more high ranked teams than Kiff and it isn’t close. DeBoer stomped Kentucky this year. LSU didn’t.

But you simply don’t have the same confidence in DeBoer as a coach as you do Kiff.

Unsure why given the success against top opponents but it’s true. Lack of physicality, less emotion on the sideline, etc, maybe?

The “man in charge” controls whether a key player gets hurt or some team beats another team?

To be fair, Kiffin is in year 1, DeBoer is in year 3.

DeBoer laid his own year 1 eggs.

You say without providing ANY statistics to back up your point which further proves my point you're a casual fan who talks out of your butt

Lane Kiffin
• Vs. Game-Week AP Top 25 (Career): 13-26 (.333)
• Vs. Final AP Top 25 (Prior Seasons): 4-23 (.148)
• Active 2026 Record vs. Current CFP Top 25: 0-2 (.000)

• Vs. Game-Week AP Top 10 (Career): 1-19 (.050)
• Vs. Final AP Top 10 (Prior Seasons): 1-13 (.071)
• Active 2026 Record vs. Current CFP Top 10: 0-2 (.000)

Eli Drinkwitz
• Vs. Game-Week AP Top 25 (Career): 8-21 (.276)
• Vs. Final AP Top 25 (Prior Seasons): 1-9 (.100)
• Active 2026 Record vs. Current CFP Top 25: 1-2 (.333)

• Vs. Game-Week AP Top 10 (Career): 2-11 (.154)
• Vs. Final AP Top 10 (Prior Seasons): 1-4 (.200)
• Active 2026 Record vs. Current CFP Top 10: 0-2 (.000)

Lol actually Drinkwitz might be better. the numbers are pretty disheartening for LSU fans. who ironically were shitting all over Kiffin a year ago with the same numbers. LSU took him because it made you feel good to bully Ole Miss.

If DeBoer loses this game, then I see him losing the majority of the fanbase and the willingness for us to spend for him.

I am really glad you aren't in a position to hire or fire Alabama's football coach. This era is not your grandfather's college football. People like you would have fired Gene Stallings after he lost his first three games as Bama's HC.

Kiffin may have his issues, but he has balls and is a much better X & Os coach than Deboer.
