The collective melt over Nate Oats and Bediako should be a wakeup call.

This is "college" sports now.

We all knew it would happen. Dont act surprised.

It just so happens to benefit alabama this time around.

Bediako is the same age as Indiana's average roster age. Alabama didn't create this problem. The NCAA did. Alabama is just taking advantage of it like many other schools will eventually be doing.

It's really not though, it's minor league professional sports.

Could not imagine being on that team and having some dude join in the middle of the season to take minutes away.

I'm sure will be great for the locker room

There is also the opportunity to self police.

But Alabama threw that out the window in the SEC.

Alabama didn’t have to do this. NCAA has opined this is not allowed.

Adding a two way NBA contract player in the middle of a season is just wild.

Add the fact that the guy played college ball three years ago and waived his eligibility to stay in the draft, it’s almost comical.

It won't affect the locker room. Bediako is much better than the pitiful front court guys they currently have, and they all know they suck. It will probably be a relief to have an experienced guy come in and pick up the slack for them. Noah "Baby Giraffe" Williamson was an awful transfer portal pickup.

I agree, I wish it wasn’t my school that did this first.

But I also believe schools will bend the rules far worse than this situation in the future. I have a feeling a few others were already in the process of doing something similar

On the one hand, I agree with you.

On the other hand, Bediako will provide much needed talent, experience and maturity for the front court. And I'll cheer for it.
