Exactly.
In the two years of the bridge schedule Bama will have played ZERO GAMES against the East's top 3 teams. All while LSU will have played 4 games ,in the two years , against the East's top 3 teams.

If not the SEC is a joke. Still isnt it ever so convenient that yall went straight on to UK for Murrays senior year?
I'm sure they factored in every good player's senior year into preparing the schedule a year and a half in advance. I mean, it's not like players go pro early or get injured.

Yes, yes we do
And you seem to have a guilty conscience. We don't care, to be the best you have to beat the best... (well, unless they get a mulligan)

My conscience is actually clearer now that I see the pattern they have going on. It was never guilty though, I knew they had a plan.

Especially before marshall and gurleys breakout it looked like next year as opposed to this year would be a rebuilding year for UGA.

You say there is a plan but there are obvious holes in the plan. Holes that have a distinct advantage for Bama in particular.
Listen. Teams are cyclical. Everyone knows that. With a true rotation it would just be bad luck for us to get USC and UGA back to back years with them being up+UF being up. How it is though is that the sec scheduling office for once in its existence had two back to back years to do whatever it wanted and to make sure schedules were somewhat equitable. Yet they are everything but. And still they cant even get a rotation. 3 years of bridge schedules.

Jesus Christ... If we get UGA next year it will be gurley's last year probably.
The point of the post is that even though they had two years to do whatever they wanted as you say, they tried to keep the rotation so that teams are playing each other as often as possible compared to the old rotation.
Sure, we could have played Georgia last year and SC this year. Looks like we will be doing exactly that with Georgia in 2014 and SC in 2015.
LSU fans like you are basing too much off current events, rankings, players, and not enough off the big picture.

I mean, let's think about it, you guys get Georgia with your own senior QB this year. We probably get them with our own freshman/sophomore first year QB next year. While y'all will probably get Mizzou or Kentucky with your young first year starting QB next year...
I guess the SEC office planned that to y'all's advantage next year.

Of course you do.
Screw the SEC for ridiculous scheduling.

Do you want to see something hysterical, yet monumenetally shameful and embarrassing ???????:
Alabama's 2013 SEC East opponents' SEC records in 2011 and 2012.........4-27
LSU's 2013 SEC East opponents' SEC records in 2011 and 2012.........29-4
Thanks good 'ol Alabammy Bumminhayum podnuhs...
Geeeeeeeeee, I wonder how the MulliGumpNecks would feel if:
*The SEC Office was on Poydras Street across from the Superdome in downtown N.O.
*The Head of SEC Scheduling was an LSU alumnus.
*The Head of SEC Officiating was an LSU alumnus.
*The Replay Official in the pressbox at the SECCG every year was an LSU alumnus.
*The SEC Office employee license plates said "Geaux Tigers."

Eh,
I finally got curious enough to look and see how they were doing the schedule instead of wondering if they were just randomly picking teams for everyone to play. Obviously they aren't and are basing it off the old rotation.

Oh really? I thought these were the types of things that had a pretty large determining factor in how my team would perform this season?

and not enough off the big picture.
Exactly what does the big picture have to do with any 1 specific season?

It's really your fault. You should know better than to bring forth a pretty clear pattern based on the past that shows why the bridge schedules are the way they are to the LSU schedule-tards/trolls. Obviously the bridge schedules are the way they are only because of a large conspiracy...

Exactly, you are trying to act like the current setting should be the basis for making a schedule that will be used for possibly the next 30 years. They are obviously trying to merge from the old schedule to the new one smoothly, not make everything fair and equal (which it will never be for everyone) based on current situations that can change as soon as one QB breaks his leg, or one coach fricks an assistant, one running back gets arrested, or one school goes on probation, or one linebacker leaves early for the NFL.
You can say the same teams are always good, but two seasons ago arky was good, A&M sucked, and Auburn won a national championship.

Good post NATide. Sorta makes sense. Let's hope in the long run that some sort of consensus can be agreed on and maintained on the future of SEC scheduling.
